Top 5 Mental Health Clinics in Bangkok to Tune Up Your Mind

  • Experience and Accreditation - To make sure you’re in good hands, we checked whether the clinic has therapists and psychologists with a proper degree, international certifications, or relevant clinical experience.
  • Treatment Options - Because mental health isn’t one-size-fits-all, we focused on clinics that offer a variety of treatment options, including individual counseling, group therapy, psychiatric consultations, and even mindfulness.
  • Availability and Accessibility - We considered clinics with good availability, flexible hours, and convenient locations so you don’t have to stress about logistics.
  • Customer Support - We looked for clinics that are responsive to questions, offer clear guidance on next steps, and treat you with respect and empathy both online and in person.
  • Follow-up Care - For lasting progress, we checked whether the clinics check in on your well-being after sessions. Places that offer follow-up appointments, mental health resources, or ongoing support made the cut.

Let’s be honest—dealing with mental health struggles can feel as overwhelming as navigating Bangkok traffic during rush hour. Whether it’s anxiety, depression, or just a constant feeling that something’s not right, finding help shouldn’t be so hard.

Sifting through endless clinic lists and not knowing which spots truly care is exhausting, too! We totally get it, and that’s why our team decided to do some serious digging.

After checking several spots, we’ve rounded up the best mental health clinics in Bangkok you can trust. Now take a deep breath, read on—you’re one step closer to feeling understood and supported!

How much does mental health treatment cost in Bangkok?

In Bangkok, private therapy sessions typically cost between 1,500 THB and 5,175 THB, depending on the clinic and therapist’s expertise. Psychiatrist visits start around 1,500 THB, but medication costs may be extra, and public healthcare may cover the full price with referrals for Thai nationals.

Happy Me Clinic has put a lot of thought into making its services accessible and stigma-free.

Their team includes licensed clinical psychologists and specialists with experience handling everything from anxiety and depression to relationship issues, trauma, and even child and adolescent challenges.

There’s also specialized support for LGBTQIA+ clients, couples, and families, which is still rare to find under one roof. What’s great is how they make both in-clinic counseling and online sessions equally available, so whatever you prefer, you’re covered.

Furthermore, we liked how the therapists use a blend of evidence-based methods like CBT, DBT, and even schema therapy.

Clients also shared how much they appreciated the tailored sessions and the clinic’s ability to go way beyond and address everything from burnout and panic attacks to gaming and substance addiction.

On the flip side, scheduling can be a bit of a hurdle—no walk-ins are allowed, and parking is tricky, so planning is a must.

Pros

  • Wide range of mental health services
  • In-clinic and online counseling options
  • Compassionate, empathetic staff
  • Evidence-based therapy methods
  • Personalized treatment plans

Cons

  • No walk-ins
  • Limited parking availability

Insightful and grounding support

“I had a positive session. My therapist made me feel heard and understood, guiding me to reflect on things I hadn’t realized I was holding onto. I left feeling lighter, clearer, and more grounded.”

Relax Mind Clinic has built a strong reputation as a go-to spot for adults and seniors looking for mental health support. They’re accessible since they’re right in Phra Khanong—super convenient whether you’re taking the BTS or public transport.

Now the whole place is set up for privacy since it’s strictly by appointment, which people said helped them feel more at ease. Meanwhile, online sessions are available too.

The clinical team covers the whole spectrum of concerns—whether it’s sleep problems, ADHD, mood and anxiety disorders, memory issues, or even gambling or alcohol addiction.

People we spoke with said they felt they were being closely watched. Thanks to the team staying on top of things with regular follow-ups and practical info about treatment options, including all the medication details most places gloss over.

If there’s one thing we’d change, it’s the waiting area—it does its job, but a bit more comfort and maybe some friendlier decor wouldn’t hurt.

Pros

  • Convenient location
  • High level of privacy
  • Specialized care for adults and the elderly
  • Wide range of mental health diagnostics
  • Online and on-site session options
  • Detailed follow-up and medication guidance

Cons

  • The waiting area lacks warmth and comfort

Supportive care and successful anxiety treatment

“The psychiatrist was so kind and super supportive. I had something like anxiety from trauma in the past, so the psychiatrist prescribed me with some medicine. The duration was about 4 months. Now I’m finished. Thank you so much.”

Yanisa Tengyam, Google Review

Compassionate expertise and personalized progress

“Overall experience is incredible! The clinic is a haven of comfort and understanding. Dr. Teerayuth is not only knowledgeable but also deeply compassionate. Progress has been steady, and I credit the doctor’s personalised strategies for the positive changes in my mental well-being.”

It’s not often you find a place that covers everything from prenatal mental health for parents-to-be to specialized therapy for seniors, but at the Mental Well Clinic, there are experts for every life stage.

We noticed the therapists and psychologists don’t just stick with one type of therapy either; they’ve got CBT, EMDR, art therapy, play-based sessions for kids, and even Satir for those looking for a different approach.

We’ve discovered that everyone on their team is constantly doing training and workshops, so it feels like you’re getting care from people genuinely invested in staying up-to-date.

The vibe here isn’t your typical cold clinic, either. Their waiting rooms are actually a great place to hang out—those massage chairs, books, and games don’t go unnoticed, and clients loved them, too!

Service feels personal, with actual follow-up and support instead of just an in-and-out routine.

If we had to nitpick, we did hear a few grumbles about how often they mention their paid workshops—definitely more upselling than we expected.

Pros

  • Comprehensive care for every age group
  • Wide range of therapies
  • Homely waiting area
  • Continuous staff training
  • Attentive service

Cons

  • Frequent marketing of workshops

Effective guidance and goal-oriented therapy

“I went to the clinic because I got problems in my relationship I decided to take a course with K’Nat. After 2-3 times I started to pass over the problems and then we talked about future plans. You do need to know what is the reason to go and what is your goal after the session. Now I can say that the therapy was successful, Thank you K’Nat and the team. Wish the other couples to have as good as experience as we did ❤️”

Janpim Benjasiri, Google Review

Supportive counseling for mothers

“I’ve been a full-time mom for six years and I feel like I can’t find my space. I worry about myself and my children. I had the opportunity to see a psychologist at Mental Well Clinic, which helped me unblock my inner feelings. I received some great advice and felt like I had returned home with energy. If I have the chance, I’ll definitely bring my kids for consultations again. The clinic is beautifully decorated and has a welcoming atmosphere.”

We have to say, OOCA Mental Wellness Clinic really ticks a lot of boxes for us when it comes to mental health care in Bangkok. First off, the place feels private and calming—think soothing vibe, comfy chairs, and zero hustle-bustle.

The waiting area’s pretty nice, but yeah, we did spot a few empty bottles lying around after things got busy, so maybe they could step up the tidying.

Their team’s pretty stacked, too. You’re not just getting one-size-fits-all care; they’ve got psychiatrists and psychologists with solid backgrounds.

Whether it’s your first assessment, regular therapy, or something high-tech like dTMS, you’re covered. And if you’re a parent (or about to be), quite a few of our friends can vouch for their pre- and postnatal support programs.

What also makes OOCA stand out is how easy they make things tech-wise. We tried their Uga app for an online consult—literally a few clicks, and you’re set, no awkward waiting.

There’s even a free stress test right on their website, and if you need meds, they’ll bring them straight to your door (great for those “I can’t even” days).

Pros

  • Wide range of specialized providers
  • Comprehensive services
  • Personalized care
  • Convenient UGA app
  • Helpful stress test
  • Strong support for mothers
  • Calming and private environment

Cons

  • Occasional lapses in immediate cleanliness

Clear guidance

“Good presentation, good care from the staff, the doctor gave advice to the point, making me understand myself better.”

Zamploy Wannisa, Google Review

Relaxing atmosphere

“The clinic is very cute, peaceful, and relaxing. The doctors give very good advice and suggestions.”

The second you walk in, Bangkok Mental Health Hospital (BMHH) feels different—calm, bright, and organized (though it’s a bit outskirts of the city centre).

What’s great is their lineup of specialists, with psychiatrists, psychologists, occupational therapists, nurses, and even their own pharmacists, so every bit of care gets covered.

Their reputation for treating complex cases—whether it’s depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or even things like ADHD and autism—is well earned.

Furthermore, their Comprehensive Depression Center is known for putting a real emphasis on personalized assessment and evidence-based treatments, including options like deep TMS.

The Learning Disabilities Center gets shoutouts, too, from parents looking for help with school issues or learning delays.

Walk-ins are welcome, and they take appointments—though, fair warning, waiting times can stretch. The trade-off? Nearly everyone we asked said it’s worth the extra wait because staff are actually present, thorough, and supportive.

The online mental health screening is a handy bonus, and we’ve seen that follow-up care is actually taken seriously.

Pros

  • Comprehensive multidisciplinary team
  • Wide range of mental health services
  • Advanced technology options
  • Dedicated centers for depression and learning disabilities
  • Welcoming facility
  • Accepts walk-ins
  • Accessible online mental health screening

Cons

  • Longer wait times
  • Located on the outskirts of Bangkok

Attentive care

“The doctor that I had was Nacharin and he was fantastic. He assisted me well today and he was so kind too! He made me feel comfortable and all-in-all he was awesome! The staff and facility were good as well. They were friendly and helped me a lot!”

Jen S., Google Review

Supportive atmosphere

“I went to the hospital for mental health counseling and was truly impressed. The psychiatrist was very helpful and genuinely understood my symptoms. The atmosphere was also calm and welcoming. I am grateful for the care I received.”
