Another thing we like about Enjoy Taxi is its owner, Mr. Notty. He responds quickly to all emails, phone calls, and messages through the Line App, even during odd hours.

It’s worth noting that Enjoy Taxi has a pool of trusted drivers, which Mr. Notty assigns to each booking. So far, we are glad to see that there were no unpleasant experiences with any of them, having been noted to have professional and friendly dispositions.

We also appreciate that the drivers were thoroughly briefed before each trip to ensure familiarity with the itinerary, making each trip smooth and enjoyable.

On the downside, Enjoy Taxi only accepts cash payments, which are handed to the driver on the day of the trip. We should also mention that they do not accept same-day bookings, so reservations should be made a day in advance.

Nonetheless, Enjoy Taxi provides reliable and professional taxi service from Bangkok to anywhere in the country and vice versa. Its rates are also reasonable, even with the luxury vehicles, so this is a plus in our books!

Next on our list is Somsak Big Taxi. Although it has “big” in its name, we found it fascinating that this taxi service is a small company with only several drivers.

It’s interesting to note that its owner Mr. Somsak also assumes the role of chauffeur and drives most of the booked trips. Nonetheless, he has a reliable team with over 15 years of combined experience, enabling the company to make a couple of trips within a day.

A noteworthy aspect of this Bangkok taxi service is its owner’s attention to detail, given that bookings are like clockwork with set protocols and exceptional punctuality. When Mr. Somsak is not included in the trip, the assigned driver even takes selfies in every location to keep him updated.

We also like that the cars are neat and well-maintained. Many of the tourists we surveyed felt safe and secure in their trips with Somsak Big Taxi because of its top-notch service and professionalism.

On the other hand, we found the vehicle options at Somsak Big Taxi lacking. It only has an SUV which fits up to five people and a VIP van that can accommodate up to nine passengers.

We think that Somsak Big Taxi can expand its excellent services by having more available vehicles. However, we respect Mr. Somsak’s dedication to quality which is made possible by maintaining a small fleet with only a handful of trusted drivers.

Pattaya Cab is a private taxi service based in Bangkok, providing trips to and from Pattaya. Ayutthaya, Kanchanaburi, and Koh Samet & Koh Chang islands. This company also provides airport transfers and day tours.

We were initially drawn to this company because of its ratings on Google, Facebook, and Tripadvisor, so we set out to check why so many customers felt compelled to give it a perfect score.

A great thing about Pattaya Cab is that it has over a hundred vehicles in its fleet, all of which are driven by professional drivers. Moreover, customers can choose from four types of vehicles.

We also found it notable that some of its vehicles have free wifi and TV installed. On the other hand, only several are available with these features.

Another thing that we like is that the drivers at Pattaya Cab operate 24/7. However, bookings are required to be made a day in advance during operating hours.

Moreover, Pattaya Cab imposes an additional 200 Baht fee when trips are booked on peak holidays such as Songkran, Christmas, and New Year. We think this surcharge is quite reasonable given the difficulty traveling and obtaining a ride at these specific events.

While we were glad to learn that Pattaya Cab accepts credit card payments, its staff must be notified when choosing this option since payments should be done before the trip through a web link. Moreover, this option entails a 2.9% surcharge.

Finally, we hope that Pattaya Cab can provide more booking options and more contact options. Currently, bookings can only be made through the online web form and do not provide contact through phone or online messaging.

Tommy Taxi is one of the most popular taxi services found by tourists scouring Tripadvisor. On its website, we saw that it promotes a safe experience for tourists by providing an honest and sincere service.

Upon checking our surveys, we were glad to see many foreigners who had exceptional service with Tommy Taxi. Notably, many commended the honesty and friendliness of its drivers, aside from its transparent rates.

We like that the costs of Tommy Taxi’s services are clearly listed online. The clear fare matrix of airport transfers and day tours is much appreciated.

Furthermore, the variety of rides offered by this taxi service is decent. Customers can choose from several Toyota SUVs, Camry sedans, and Hiace vans.

On the other hand, we found that the additional child seats at Tommy Taxi are more expensive since they cost 300 Baht per seat, compared to the usual 200 Baht from the other taxi services on this list.

Nonetheless, the rates of Tommy Taxi’s services are reasonable. We also like that payments can be made in cash or through PayPal.

Another thing we appreciate is its quick response to its customers, whether, through phone calls, LINE messaging, or Facebook messenger. However, we think that the customer service representative can offer a friendlier tone when handling inquiries.

Finally, we like the added touch of hospitality at Tommy Taxi by providing hot towels and bottled water at the start of each trip. While these are simple things, we think this thoughtful gesture is commendable.
