Bangkok’s Top 5 Gift Shops for Memorable Souvenirs and Joyful Finds

  • Product Quality and Uniqueness — We prioritised shops offering high-quality, well-crafted, and distinctive gifts that reflect creativity and local charm.
  • Shop Layout and Atmosphere — Our selection favoured stores with well-organised displays, pleasant ambience, and easy browsing experiences.
  • Transparency — We valued gift shops that clearly label prices, return policies, and product details for a straightforward shopping experience.
  • Customer Service — We looked for shops known for friendly, knowledgeable staff who assist customers in finding thoughtful and suitable gifts.
  • Range and Variety — We prioritised stores offering a wide selection of gift items, from artisanal crafts to modern keepsakes, catering to different occasions and tastes.

Wanting to find a special and unique gift for a foreign friend, I set out to my favourite little gift shop tucked behind a Bangkok side street. As I walked, it hit me: while I had a go-to spot, this city was bursting with other brilliant gift shops.

Instead of heading straight there, I turned in another direction to revisit the other gift shops that I used to visit back then. From stores filled with handcrafted wonders to ones stacked with quirky finds, each shop offered something unique.

Remember, the right gift can say more than words ever could. So, here are the best gift shops in Bangkok that are worth checking out!

How much do gifts in Bangkok cost?

The cost of gifts in Bangkok varies widely, with small souvenirs from markets, like elephant pants, trinkets, or carved soaps, typically ranging from 100 to 300 baht. Mid-range gifts, such as quality handicrafts or handbags, can cost between 300 and 1,500 baht.

CHABATREE is a go-to gift shop for those who love cooking, and it’s hands down one of the most interesting shops in Bangkok. The store focuses on wooden kitchenware and home items—the craftsmanship is impressive!

You’ll find everything from sleek cutting boards and spatulas to beautifully carved salad tongs and butter knives. What stood out most was how each piece felt unique, clearly hand-finished and made with care.

The store’s ambiance is calming and minimal, matching the natural aesthetic of its products. By the way, its location is pretty central, and you can also browse or order from their website if you’re not in Bangkok

Plus, the staff are friendly, patient, and they gave helpful suggestions when I visited. Bonus points to them for offering stylish yet sustainable packaging!

That said, the items are a bit pricey compared to mass-market options. While you’re paying for design and sustainability, it may not suit tighter budgets.

Pros

  • Unique, eco-friendly kitchen and home items
  • High-quality craftsmanship
  • Thoughtful designs
  • Friendly staff
  • Stylish gift packaging

Cons

  • On the expensive side

Amazing wood products

“Beautiful wood products like cake stand, cheese boards etc. Just a tad expensive”

Good quality items

“I bought it in Japan, and since I came to Bangkok, I stopped by the store. Currently on sale with a 30% discount. It’s a bit pricey, but I like it because the quality is good. The clerk was also kind.”

GiftnGo.Gift is the one to visit when I need something assorted but extra thoughtful. This place isn’t your typical gift shop—it specialises in luxury gift sets and custom packaging, which is exactly what makes it a memorable gift shop.

What I appreciated most was its flexibility. I can buy my gifts from their store and even add other items that came from others, then the staff fully handles the packaging.

The result always looks well-curated and professional, like something out of a boutique catalogue.

Their communication throughout the process was smooth, and I felt involved without needing to micromanage.

However, the last time I checked their website to browse for items that I could add to my order, their collection was outdated compared to what they have in store. It’s not a deal breaker, but it was a bit harder to get a feel for what’s new or available unless you speak directly to them.

Moving forward, the store’s vibe (and their social presence) leans premium, and prices reflect that. But for the sake of meaningful, tailor-made gifts, it’s worth it.

Pros

  • Personalised gift packaging
  • Great customer support
  • Very responsive
  • Elegant gift presentation

Cons

  • Outdated website
  • Located in a small alley

Excellent workmanship

“Khun Ben was so professional at handling my gift basket all the way from Malaysia for my friend in Bangkok. She customised my orders as per my request and budget. She communicated well and her workmanship was excellent. Grateful I found her online and I highly recommend her gift basket services to others.”

Responsive team

“I had initially ordered a basket to place my significant other’s gifts. They had personalised the service so well and decided to design and personalise the gift packaging for me. They communicated with me very well to make sure I was happy with their design and packaging. I am a very happy customer and will come back to them for any gift packaging service that I would need in the future.”

When we first visited Basketeer for a fruit and pastry gift set, the first thing that hit me was the price tag. Let’s be clear—it’s not cheap, and you’re definitely paying a premium for the branding and presentation.

But if you’re the kind of gift-giver who values presentation just as much as the gift itself, then this place might just be your go-to.

After moving past the price shock, I found the shopping experience smooth, and the range of items—from artisan cakes to beautifully arranged fruit baskets—felt very well-organised.

Their website is also user-friendly and functional, and you can complete an order online without too much back and forth.

So, I have tried their mixed fruit basket that came with delicate pastries. The packaging looked like something out of a lifestyle magazine. The fruits were fresh, and the pastries weren’t just for show—they tasted good! They even included extras like candles and a cutting knife.

Finally, customer support was helpful and responsive, which is especially helpful for last-minute delivery requests.

Pros

  • Elegant packaging
  • Fresh, quality cakes and fruits
  • Reliable delivery
  • Responsive customer support

Cons

  • On the pricey side

High-quality gifts

“Received birthday basket flower and housewarming basket goodie from my close friend. The flowers are fresh with roses smell. The basket goodies are packed with all good stuff. Heard from my friend that free cookies is added by the owner🙏. Not forget to mention that the basket is good quality which can be reused to keep stuff or picnic 😉.”

Blood Bunny & Friends Store has always been my favourite spot when I need a gift that’s quirky, bold, and fun. The moment you step in, you’re surrounded by bright character merch—Bloody Bunny’s edgy style, Unsleep Sheep’s adorable chaos, and plenty more.

I used to gift out hoodies, graphic tees, notebooks, and even stuffed bunnies. It’s the kind of place where you’ll find something cool, whether you’re buying for a teenager, a pop culture geek, or just want something out of the ordinary.

Now, the downside is the inconsistent customer service. On one visit, a staff member closed the shop earlier than posted hours, even though we were right at the door.

That kind of attitude dampened the experience, especially when you’re ready to buy. It’s worth noting because it’s not a one-time complaint, as other customers we interviewed shared similar feedback.

On the upside, the store’s layout is easy to navigate, and the pricing is fair for licensed character goods. Their website is decent for browsing, by the way, but I always prefer visiting in person to see new designs firsthand.

Pros

  • Unique and creative gift options
  • Fun variety of apparel, stationery, and plush toys
  • Great for fans of Thai pop culture

Cons

  • Unreliable store staff

Trendsetter

“Super cool gear. Very cool. Definitely trend setter in Australia. My sons will be the only Australian boys with Bloody Bunny. 97 percent cruel. 😆😆😆I love the Bloody Bunny jackets. The Bloody Bunny and crew are really cool. I’m definitely ordering more online. I should have bought another jacket me. …”

Siam Exotique is the kind of gift shop I always take our visiting friends to when they want something truly Thai to bring home—but not the mass-produced kind you’ll find in tourist traps.

Their selection leans toward premium handcrafted goods, like Benjarong ceramics, Thai sik accessories, traditional carvings, and even hard-to-find items like themed snow globes.

The shop itself is tidy and calm, which helps when you’re trying to choose between fragile items. Everything is carefully arranged, and you’re free to browse without pressure.

The staff doesn’t just stand around either—they help with wrapping, bubble-pack everything properly, and offer advice if you’re unsure about anything. It’s the sort of attention to detail I appreciate, especially when buying something delicate for international travel.

That said, the prices are on the higher side. It’s probably not where you’d shop for bulk souvenirs, but if you value authenticity and craftsmanship, it’s worth the spend.

Pros

  • Unique and high-quality Thai souvenirs
  • Excellent packaging
  • Friendly and helpful staff

Cons

  • Expensive items

Great souvenir shop

“Great shop with a good selection of high quality Thai souvenirs. The owner was really friendly and was kind enough to bubble wrap all my purchases so I can pack them in my suitcase without breaking them en route home”

Panida Keophaithool, Google Review

Beautiful and unique items

“Great store with beautiful souvenirs. You might not be able to haggle like in the markets, but it’s a great shop to step out of the heat and find some treasures.”
