What we like about their platform is how they have the profiles of their maid candidates and how much their rates are per month.

While many clients are satisified, there are a number of complaints about poor customer service, especially after the customer has paid. Sometimes clients don’t receive a response and we hope this is something they work on.

If you need a one-time maid for cleaning your home, there’s DO4YOU.

DO4YOU is a laundry and house cleaning service in Watthana, Bangkok (unfortunately, they don’t offer nanny services). You can book their services through their website or mobile app.

We love their many offerings, including the cleaning of heavy items such as sofas, rugs, curtains, and refrigerators – which are cumbersome to clean for the busy person. However, this efficiency comes with a price.

On a brighter note, you can efficiently pay DO4YOU by cash, debit, or credit card. We’re also thankful that DO4YOU offers promo codes on their social media pages to help the economical spender.

Unfortunately, DO4YOU has a limited list of areas they can service in Bangkok. These include Din Daeng, Ratchathewi, Pathum Wan, Sathon, Khlong Thai, Bang Phlat, Watthana, Huai Khwang, Dusit, Phaya Thai, and Phra Khanong. 

We tried their house cleaning service, and we’re very impressed. Although some customers said that DO4YOU’s cleaning service is usually fully booked, we were able to get a schedule, and the maid came on time (do note that you need to book at least 24 hours before your preferred date).

For the cleaning itself: although we were the ones who provided the broom, vacuum cleaner and mop, the cleaner did their job very well. All nooks and crannies of our house were clean.

We highly recommend DO4YOU for your one-time cleaning needs.

If you need an all-around, on-call maid service (no nanny service, sadly), there’s Smile Clean in Suan Luang, Bangkok. Since it’s a fairly new service provider, we were quite skeptical of their skills.

However, we were glad to be wrong this time.

Smile Clean offers lots of services that you can use around the home, such as cleaning, organising, furniture assembly, furniture cleaning, and mattress cleaning. This makes them the perfect one-time maid service for those who need a temporary helping hand.

For their pricing, Smile Clean thoroughly interviews their customers through Line or even pays a visit on-site so that they could correctly assess your needs and give a proper quote. We like this very much because it makes the service feel more “human.”

One Smile Clean customer we talked to said that they also liked that the sales staff and cleaning team speak good English. This makes communicating instructions very easy.

On cleaning day, the Smile Clean team arrives on time and with all the equipment they need. This is a relief since customers won’t need to worry about buying cleaning materials just for one-time use.

Based on our experience, the Smile Clean team cleans thoroughly. You can check their work yourself on their website or social media pages.

However, there’s one thing that Smile Clean hasn’t yet mastered. Their repair services are still a hit or miss.

The good thing is that If you end up being unsatisfied with their work, you can notify Smile Clean within 12 hours after the job and they’ll gladly come back – with no additional fees. Now that’s great service!

Kiidu is a maid service provider or agency in Sukhumvit, Bangkok. They mainly use their mobile app as a platform to connect customers with their needed household staff (e.g., nannies, maids, tutors, chefs, drivers, and caregivers).

Customers can choose to get staff for different needs – from one-off engagements to long-term employment. This makes Kiidu a good choice for all kinds of customers.

We like that Kiidu ensures that the staff they deploy have been through background checks and training. Many customers we’ve talked to are happy with the service they get from Kiidu. 

However, we are quite concerned that this might not always be true. We’ve learned from several customers that nannies or maids sent to them are actually unsure of what their job entails. In this light, we hope Kiidu improves its hiring and training system. 

To book a maid or nanny from Kiidu, a customer must first pay the subscription fee. It can be for as low as THB 3,800 for 1 month, or THB 12,000 for a year (with a maximum of 8 replacements).

A full-time maid costs around THB 13,000 to 20,000 a month, which can be quite expensive for some.

Payment-wise, we’re glad that there are many payment channels available to use like PayPal, credit card, or bank transfer. But if a booked maid cancels on you, it looks like getting a refund is pretty hard to do, which gets us to our next observation. 

Kiidu’s sales staffs are a hit or miss. Some are very helpful, but some need to brush up on their customer service skills. 

In the end, we still think that Kiidu is a credible maid service. However, there are still many things it can improve on to make its expensive price much more worth it.

Borigarn is an all-around household services provider. They can help you with almost everything in the house – from cleaning and babysitting to repairs and renovations.

The easiest way to book a service with them is through a thorough questionnaire on their website. You have the option to book maids to clean your house for a single time or repeatedly starting at THB 600 per 2 hours. 

We think this is a fair price, but it could cost even lower. Given that they mainly focus on areas near MRT and BTS stations, we’re a bit disappointed that they’re a bit expensive compared to the other maid services we’ve tried.

Most customers we’ve talked to are satisfied with Borigarn’s maid service. However, it’s quite the opposite for the repair service.

Common issues we’ve heard about are Borigarn staff not coming on time, or worse, cancelling on the customer. Another issue is the confusion of whether customers need a deposit to confirm a maid booking or not.

We hope that Borigarn considers retraining or upskilling their repair service staff to address these inconsistencies.

Nevertheless, we’re still in awe of Borigarn because of its extensive network of service providers that can help in household maintenance.

Unfortunately, they may not be available in all areas, which may limit their customer base.

Our experience with HiHome Cleaning Service left us with more than just a sparkling home; it left us impressed, satisfied, and ready to sing their praises.

When it comes to efficiency, HiHome is a well-oiled cleaning machine. The promptness of their team and the speed at which they transformed our space was nothing short of astounding. We were left wondering if they possessed some sort of cleaning wizardry in their aprons.
