Now, Luk specializes in documentary-style photography that captures raw, emotional moments—whether it’s the glow of an expectant mother, a newborn’s yawn, or an energetic one-year-old smashing their birthday cake. 

Their packages cover a range of needs: the Sabai Session is great for quick shoots, while the Sawasdee Deluxe offers the ultimate multi-location experience.

Now, while Luk brings extensive expertise and high-quality services, there’s no free wardrobe provided, and props are somewhat limited. Ultimately, though, Luk’s ability to deliver beautifully edited photos quickly and their attention to detail make them at the top of our book.

During the session itself, he efficiently guided us to various spaces at two different locations and made helpful suggestions for poses and was very patient with our group, which was composed of myself, my husband, our six year old son, and my elderly mother. All of us were hot and somewhat jet-lagged but he made the experience fun and somehow managed to capture the most beautiful images. Gap Photography is definitely one of the top choices for maternity photography in Bangkok. We noted during our visit how attentive Gap, the owner and lead photographer, was to client requests, making every effort to capture their vision.

Upon stepping into Gap’s studio, the set was ready, and he had even done a test shot to show us the lighting and effects. This preparation contributed to an efficient session, allowing us to capture over a hundred shots within an hour.

Many of these shots turned out exceptionally well. The retouching process was also impressive, as the edits were fast, detailed, and looked very natural.

Aside from the professional expertise, we were glad with the quick turnaround time for professionally edited images—something their previous clients agreed with!

We’re just a bit iffy about one con: it’s hard to secure a date since they’re almost always fully booked. Nevertheless, we still like the overall service.

Clients share how comforting it was to work with someone who was unhurried—this is something we noted during our visit. As we perused their portfolio, we admired how they perfectly balance elegance and simplicity in their maternity shots.

The use of lovely and well-maintained props was another highlight, and we saw firsthand how meticulously clean everything was. 

Their packages, detailed clearly on their website, cover different styles, and what we even liked more is that they have customizable options to suit specific preferences. That said, the studio does accept walk-ins, which can lead to a busier receiving area. 

We’re just a little unsure about this for sessions that require a quieter setting. Nevertheless, the swift response times and professionalism kept us impressed overall.

Though we noticed their prop selection leans towards more muted and neutral tones, so if you’re envisioning something vibrant or uniquely themed, you might as well discuss with them ahead of time. 

On a brighter note, they provide printing options, from small sizes to A3, so your memories will last beyond the screen. 

However, due to its popularity and its open-door policy for walk-ins, you might find yourself waiting during peak hours. Nevertheless, Stay Studio remains ahead of the curve for maternity photography in Bangkok.
