Yellow Brick Road is one of the first spots that comes to mind because of its iconic tiramisu cake. Their version of this classic dessert is unmatched, featuring a perfect balance between richness, creaminess and slight bitterness from the espresso.
Furthermore, if the tiramisu outshines the other noteworthy dishes on their menu, you know that it’s something special. Speaking of, before finishing your meal on a sweet note, we recommend ordering their classic tandoori chicken burger.
If you’re looking for something to share with the entire table, however, we recommend getting the rendang nachos. It’s a great blend of Mexican and Malaysian cuisine, and the delicious and tender beef steals the spotlight.

Kenny Hills Bakers is among the top spots to get fresh pastries in Kuala Lumpur. They also offer a myriad of cakes, one of which is their coveted tiramisu, which can either come with alcohol or just your traditional espresso.
Regardless of which variation you choose, however, you won’t regret ordering this dessert because of the decadent lady fingers and delicious homemade cocoa they powder on top. Plus, the espresso doesn’t feature that strong bitter taste.
It’s not just their tiramisu cake that can be doused with alcohol too! If you want something sweet that can give you a light buzz, you can also opt for their Guinness Bailey’s Chocolate Cake.
Pro tip:
If their location at Taman Tunku is already full or you simply want a different ambience, you can also check their branch at KL East Mall! Alternatively, you can always order your favourite desserts (including their tiramisu) on their official website!

If the usual ladyfingers aren’t enough to satisfy your cravings, then Lacher Patisserie should be right up your alley! They offer 6-inch round tiramisu cakes that still carry the classic coffee and chocolatey flavour of the traditional dessert.
The espresso they use to drench this dessert is surprisingly sweet, almost to the point of caramel-y. It coats each layer well, which is why the cake’s texture is notably moist and flavourful on its own.
Aside from tiramisu, Lacher Patisserie is also known for its other cakes, so might as well try them while you’re here! If you’re looking for a far cry from the flavour of tiramisu, we recommend getting the strawberry shortcake!
Pro tip:
If you’re going to order their tiramisu cake online, be sure to place it by 2:00 PM to have it delivered to you on the same day.

Rekindle is one of the must-visit cafes in SS2, and it just so happens that it offers an amazing version of tiramisu. Their espresso is spot-on and it perfectly coats the ladyfingers, making them as moist as possible.
The cream and cocoa powder is the cherry on top, as it provides the much-needed sweetness to balance the otherwise bitter taste of the espresso.
What’s great about dining here is that you can pair this dessert with one of their specialty drinks! For instance, we love pairing their tiramisu with their matcha latte!
Pro tip:
You can also stop by their branch at Damansara Uptown if their location at SS2 is out of your way.

We also recommend ordering their tiramisu for dessert because it would be a shame to visit this place without trying one of their brunch items! If you want our advice, get their Margherita pizza to share with the entire table!

If there’s a contest for the most authentic tiramisu in Kuala Lumpur, Front Room takes the cake—no pun intended. For starters, the espresso that they drench the cake in is purely made from Italian roast, which is already a good sign!
Furthermore, a splash of bourbon is added to the dessert, creating that iconic kick that this dessert is famously known for. Both these liquids are added onto a moist cake that’s slathered with thick and rich cream.
Don’t stop there though! While you’re here, treat yourself to their other freshly baked pastries like buns, bagels and churros!
Pro tip:
You can conveniently commute to this tiramisu spot by taking the bus and dropping off at the Balai Bomba Taman Desa Bus Stop, which is located directly in front of the restaurant.
