How to Get to Baiyoke Tower
Bus: The cheapest way to get to Baiyoke Tower is to catch a city bus to the Platinum Fashion Mall along Petchburi Road or Indra Square along Ratchaprarop Road. After getting off at either bus stop, you only need to walk a short distance to the tower.
Taxi: Another option is to ride a taxi directly to Baiyoke Tower from anywhere in Bangkok. We recommend booking one via Bolt or Grab to avoid public taxi drivers charging absurdly high fares.
MRT train: If you want to avoid Bangkok’s bad traffic conditions, we recommend using the MRT train to get to Baiyoke Tower. The nearest station to the tower is Ratchaprarop Station on the Brown Line.
Baiyoke Tower 2 is only a 2-minute walk from this station.

The most notable feature of Baiyoke Tower is its impressive height, so it’s definitely worth admiring the first time you see it. In case you didn’t know there are two Baiyoke Towers but the first one only serves as an attraction and shopping center at present.
Baiyoke Tower 2 is also a taller and more striking landmark because it has 85 stories, including its observation deck. The tower’s architectural style uses functional and high-tech design elements and symbolizes Bangkok’s rapid economic growth.
Also, these two towers are strategically set in the bustling Pratunam Market area, so you can see them on each side if you stand in the middle of Ratchaprarop Road.

This observation deck is the most popular attraction in Baiyoke Tower 2 so it’s definitely worth checking out especially if you want to see Bangkok’s skyline. It has a 450 baht entrance fee but we like that they also give you a free drink.
The tower’s observation deck also rotates 360 degrees every 5 minutes, so expect a panoramic view of the surrounding cityscapes. We also like that it only has a glass barrier so visitors can enjoy the view with minimal obstructions.
It’s also fully air-conditioned so you don’t have to worry about midday heat even with direct sunlight. There’s also an open-air sky deck on the 84th floor if you don’t like the public observatory’s closed setting.

This bar has an extensive drinking menu consisting of cocktails, beers, wines, gins, and other alcoholic beverages. They also serve non-alcoholic drinks like soft drinks, fruit juices, and mocktails in case you don’t want to get drunk.

Crystal Grill is THE spot for grilled food in Baiyoke Tower 2. Their buffet menu is extensive, so expect a large array of grilled meat and seafood dishes like grilled river prawns, oysters, squid, imported premium steaks, and more.
We also like their menu’s variety because they also serve non-grilled dishes like fresh sushi, sashimi, stir-fried braised pork, crab curry, etc. They also have unique fusion steak dishes inspired by Northern Thai cuisine.
