For us, the best thing about Fusion Fire is its pioneer and “elite” status among the fire safety consultancies in Thailand. It has a long list of services, with exciting areas like Computational Fluid Dynamics and Fire Incident Forensics its competitors don’t have.

We’re also impressed that its CEO is an active technical committee member for His Majesty, The King’s Patronage, and the Thai Council of Engineers. 

Through the prestige and influence of its leadership, Fusion Fire has the privilege of quickly adapting to changing industry standards and being at the forefront of setting them. Excellence seems to trickle down even to its services, staff, and engineers. 

For the customer experience, we like that its staff explains matters to clients in an easily understandable manner—even we CleverThai dummies (irony and pun intended) learned the basics of fire safety from its staff quickly!

CAK International specialises in helping businesses design fire prevention and alarm systems that follow the latest international safety standards. 

A couple of these standards include ones from the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), International Organization for Standardization (ISO), FM Global (FMG), and Underwriters Laboratory (UL). 

This company can also supply and install the equipment needed for these designs.

As a relative newcomer in the fire safety industry, CAK International still has a long way to go before being considered one of Bangkok’s best fire safety consultants. However, we saw something promising with this company’s portfolio that garnered a second look.

As of this writing, CAK has yet to celebrate its 10th anniversary but has already worked on large-scale fire safety systems for factories, warehouses, and power plants. 

Client names you might’ve heard of include LAZADA, Cargill Thailand, Bosch, and the Thai Containers Group.

CAK’s commitment to doing its job to the highest standard is paying off because most of our respondents were impressed by the quality of its actual work. 

Fast response, installation, and overall good service can be expected if you work with CAK. Its product pricing isn’t too bad as well since it has one of the most competitive pricing in the market.

The next consultant on our list specialises in training employees and executives in fire safety and working in high-risk conditions. 

We chose to include Thai Safety and Training Co., Ltd. in our list because its work is as vital as that of a consultant who makes plans and provides fire safety equipment.

Thai Safety and Training has been in business for over 20 years, and is duly certified to train people by the Thai Department of Labor Protection and Welfare. 

With this experience and knowledge, it’s not surprising that highly-qualified and very effective instructors teach every training program it offers.

One of our peers in CleverThai had the privilege of sitting in a General Safety Training online course, and they told us that they didn’t get bored at all (like the rest of the previous students we talked to)! 

We’re sure that the experience is better if you opt for the in-person classes because you’ll see the different training facilities on its premises.

It also doesn’t hurt that the pricing for the training sessions is quite economical and perfect for small-scale businesses.

The only downside we can say about Thai Safety and Training is that as of this post’s publication, it’s only offering a small number of safety training until the government announces new guidelines for these.

Another thing that we admire about this company is its transparency in its certifications. These can easily be found on its official website for anyone to see. 

However, we would’ve liked it better if Antifire’s entire online presence were updated—a lot of the certifications and information on its website are outdated already (which can make prospective clients doubt and reach out to another consultant instead.

The means to reach the company are also limited. Reaching out to Antifire via phone is okay, but being reachable online is better for the digital age.

If your preference for a consultant is one that with proven international linkages, then Guardfire may be the best pick for you. It’s a global subsidiary of the Japanese machinery importer Takachiho Koheki.

Based on what we’ve heard, albeit established in Thailand, Guardfire has a work ethic and performance at par with the high standards of its Japanese parent company. 

Since its establishment in 1990 (over 30 years ago), it’s been one popular choice of commercial and industrial facilities. This consultant specialises in the fire safety of energy (oil & gas, power) facilities in Thailand and abroad.

However, we’re unsure if they would be a good fit if your business or facility is outside of these areas.

Guardfire is another one-stop shop on our list. It offers assistance from the design until the after-sales maintenance of the systems it creates.

Given the nature of its services, we’re very impressed that Guardfire has over 500 accomplished projects (but we would’ve liked it better if the names of the actual big companies or brands it serviced were easily available to the public).

Although it’s a fairly old company, we are confident that it does and will adapt to changing trends and standards in fire safety. Guradfire regularly trains its engineers and uses the latest software to do jobs more efficiently.

If you want a fire safety consultant in Bangkok but with international linkages, Guardfire is worth checking out.
