It’s no secret that Shopee is one of the leading e-commerce sites in Thailand. They’re massive, they’re probably downloaded on most phones (but we’re no experts).

We love how online shopping in Thailand is super easy because you can do it on your mobile phone or laptop. The app is also available in Thai and English, making it easy for locals and foreign nationals to shop online.

The product selection is insane—you can purchase clothing, furniture, and electronics from local and international brands. It’s basically an all-in-one online shopping experience, except for when the app crashes.

Sadly, we saw a lot of bootleg items, and returns/refunds are quite seller-dependent. Nonetheless, you can always check Shopee Mall for authentic retailers and customer service is pretty good.

We also like the various payment methods, such as e-wallet, credit/debit cards, and SPayLater (Buy Now, Pay Later). Plus, the many discount vouchers and monthly sale promotions make them budget-friendly!

If you’re in Thailand, you’ve probably heard of Lazada. It’s a huge one-stop online shop for all your needs!

You can see anything you need in their shop, whether you’re looking for groceries or furniture. However, we were shocked at the many knockoff items on the app, which sometimes even looked like they were from authentic retailers.

On a good note, you can check for LazMall-certified items to ensure the authenticity of your products. 

There are a lot of vouchers as well, including free shipping! They have many sale promotions too, with massive discounts from local and international sellers.

The problems we had while online shopping was the cluttered user interface and the search engine wasn’t always reliable. 

But they compensate for their delivery policies. From what we’ve seen, getting a refund has been easier because of good customer service.

They’re a solid choice with the many payment options, whether you’re paying immediately or cash on delivery!

TikTok Shop isn’t exactly an e-commerce platform; it’s a short-form video app which includes an online shop. The good thing is you can purchase directly from the brands that have gone viral since the shop is on their profile.

There’s a ton of product selection from local and international brands. But if you compare it to other e-commerce platforms, there aren’t a lot of options since a TikTok account is required first.

Don’t get us wrong, you can still purchase many items, from beauty products to gadgets. We want to note that there are still bootleg items available since not all sellers are authentic brands.

The app lags sometimes, but our online shopping experience has been easy because of the good refund and delivery policies and the various payment options. We’ve even had quick deliveries!

We like that you can also get many discount vouchers and sale items during live selling. It’s like face-to-face shopping, except it’s online!

We like Kaidee because of its convenience. It’s an online shopping and classifieds platform in Thailand, which also means you can get a wide array of goods in one shop.

It’s actually impressive how many items you can get, including knickknacks, clothing, gadgets, and even houses! Yes, you can actually find real estate here to purchase!

They’re like a middleman between a buyer and a seller. And if you’re looking for a budget-friendly option, you can see so many second-hand items that won’t break the bank (there are new products too!).

But here’s the thing: you’re basically talking to locals, so don’t expect the sellers to speak in English if you’re a foreign national. There’s also a risk of fraudulent goods since you’re not buying from a retailer.

The good thing is you can see verified sellers and there’s a risk assessment method on the website to check bank accounts that have been flagged before.

In Thailand, HomePro is one of our picks for online shopping for your home. The cool thing is you won’t have to worry about fraudulent goods because it’s a retail business selling trusted brands.

It’s an online platform for essential things, such as appliances, kitchen essentials, home construction needs, and even home installation and cleaning services. We want to note that you can’t get fashion, health, and beauty needs here.

One of the things we like is that they offer same-day and next-day delivery as long as you make it to the cut-off. While this is convenient for last-minute needs, it doesn’t apply to all places in Thailand.

We also like the promotions because you can purchase items for a much cheaper price than in-store. And since they’re the retailer, you can also return or refund your items easily. 

Let’s not forget that the user interface is pretty straightforward. It’s not hard to navigate, except for the occasional glitches.

Clean and convenient app

“Very clean and neat app. Haven’t ordered from the app yet but good to look at before visiting the shop. I’m glad it has shop locations. It would help to put the hours of opening and closing as well for that thing that breaks in the early morning or late evening, when can I shop in person. Also showing the product but also showing local shops if they have the product in stock would be great. To me not an issue to drive to a different shop. Just don’t want to waste my time at the wrong shop or find out after visiting each shop the product I want is only available online. Just a couple of thoughts I had as o started to use the app that would take it to next level!”
