Ah, Spanish cuisine: once tasted, always wanted. That’s why before we even get to party till we drop in Bangkok, we make it a point to get our hands first and foremost on the best Spanish restaurant we can find.
And I must admit our hunt for Spanish food was a hit-and-miss scenario. But with a little patience, we eventually came up with a good list of excellent food spots worth revisiting (and we did) after a day or two.

Vaso is an upmarket Spanish restaurant in Bangkok rocking a classy Mediterranean-style interior. It boasts an elegant arch-shaped bar with an open kitchen in the middle, so guests can see and smell the food as they’re prepared.
They have a stacked menu featuring numerous popular Spanish dishes like shrimp paella, patatas bravas, gazpacho, churros, and more. Our team’s serious foodies particularly like the tapa-and-drink combos they offer, especially the el vaso trufado.

The restaurant is also notable for its excellent and exclusive offerings, from weekday lunch sets to weekend lunch buffets, champagne brunch buffets, and more. Our team is a big fan of their champagne brunch promotion on the first Sunday of each month.

El Willy Spanish Kitchen is a well-known tapas spot with a distinctly fun atmosphere and elegant warm-toned interiors. They focus on traditional Spanish tapas served in a yin-yang structure which classifies dishes based on their soothing and warming effects.

Barcelona Gaudi Restaurant serves one of the best paellas among the Spanish restaurants in Bangkok. Their paellas are authentic, so expect them to rival the best traditional paellas served by restaurants in Spain, at least in taste.
Just don’t expect a soccarat since they make paellas with risotto-like consistency. In case you didn’t know, soccarat is the crunchy layer of scorched rice underneath a traditional paella which many fans of Spanish cuisine consider the best part of the dish.
