Good Move immediately piqued our attention when we saw their claim of being the number one moving company in Thailand. Naturally, we had to take a closer look, and it’s safe to say that they have a pretty good argument.

For starters, we were impressed to see how varied their services were, which allows them to cater to different kinds of needs. This is because they offer their moving services in both residential and commercial properties.

Whether you’re looking to move your home, store, office, restaurant or anything in between, they have something to offer that could suit your needs. What’s more impressive is that they offer these services 24/7!

We also appreciate how meticulous they are with their service. They follow a step-by-step procedure that already includes consultation, packing, moving and arranging.

As for its downsides, two things come to mind. For one, we think that they could improve upon their price-to-value ratio, as several of their past clients say that the rates they offer are a bit too much compared to the quality of their services.

The second thing that we wanted to highlight was the previous reports of their past clients about damaged goods. Now, this couldn’t be said for all their clients, but in this kind of service, we must point this out.

Allied Thailand was one of the names that immediately popped into our heads when making this list, as they’re one of the most globally known movers. The company operates in over 40 countries and is highly regarded by its past clients.

We can easily see the reason behind its success though. For starters, we appreciate how they go above and beyond their services as movers, as they’ll also help their clients pack and unpack their items.

Furthermore, they also use state-of-the-art packing materials for all parcels to ensure that nothing gets damaged during transportation. These reasons gave us the impression that they truly care for their clients’ stuff, which we highly appreciated.

They also feature great insurance plans that give clients peace of mind throughout the moving process. 

The first one is the valued inventory where clients will list the estimated value of each item and the second one is the lump sum, which features a fixed valuation.

We think that the movers/packers are worth highlighting as well! We interviewed their past clients and they voiced their appreciation for their care, professionalism and punctuality.

The only downside with their services in our opinion is that their rates are a bit pricey. Then again, you will get the best value for your money, so if you can look past its price point, you’re in good hands.

Asian Tigers Group is another well-known name in the industry, which is why we immediately gravitated towards it during our research. We’re glad that we did too, as we discovered that they’re one of the oldest international movers in Thailand!

They’ve been around for more than 45 years so you can expect that they’re more than able to handle all orders. Speaking of orders, they also offer a variety of services including both domestic and international transfers as well as office relocations.

We also appreciate how they offered services that you wouldn’t typically see on a brochure. For instance, they feature a pet relocation management service, which we didn’t expect, but we absolutely love.

But, from what we’ve gathered, there were two things that disappointed us. 

The first one was that we’ve heard from previous clients who’ve availed of their services that their movers tend to be unpunctual. We understand it can be frustrating, especially if you don’t have a lot of time.

The second downside we noticed was that their movers don’t guarantee 100% safe transport. We say this because some previous clients we interviewed reported instances where their items got damaged.

We get that this may be on a case-to-case basis, but we thought that it’s still worth mentioning here. Overall, we still think that Asian Tigers Group is one of the most reliable international movers in Thailand because of its tenure and high-quality services.

When it comes to longevity, Santa Fe Relocation probably has everybody on this list beat. They were founded back in 1959 and since then, they’ve provided high-quality moving services for the people of Bangkok and, eventually, around the world.

We were familiar with Santa Fe Relocation prior to making this list because they’re actually a big name here in Thailand. What we didn’t know was that they also operate outside the country, so we took a closer look, and boy were we glad we did.

For starters, they have a solid selection of services that we highly appreciate including transportation, delivery, storage and even pet relocation! They also offer a pre-move consultation to help assess the client’s needs and provide them with a plan.

Speaking of plans, what we love about this company is how transparent it is with its services throughout the process. They provide clients with accurate pricing so that there will be no surprise costs by the time of payment.

However, we did notice two glaring red flags when we spoke to their past clients. The first one was that Santa Fe Relocation tends to be unresponsive, as the person we interviewed voiced out how they had to keep “chasing” them.

Furthermore, several of their past clients who answered our surveys ended up putting professionalism as an area to improve. Of course, this isn’t the same for anyone who worked with the company, but it’s still worth noting here.

When it comes to international moving companies, Crown Relocations was one of the names that kept popping up on our feed during our research. This instantly caught our attention so we took a closer look and found out that they’re one of the most globally renowned movers.

We discovered that they’ve been around since 1965 and they operate in over 40 different countries. These stats made us immediately grow our confidence in their services, but of course, we still had to take a closer look.

Thankfully, we did! We were greeted by their impressive selection of services, covering both international and local moving. 

They offer both these services in complete packages, taking care of everything from packing to handling and transporting. Right off the bat, we loved this complete set of services, as it gave us the impression that they care about their clients.

We were further sold on this idea when we checked some of their services that go way beyond just transporting their clients’ stuff. 

One of the most perfect examples of this is their destination settling service, where they’ll help their clients move in and set up their brand-new homes upon arrival. This takes away the overwhelming stress that comes with the first few weeks of moving in.

The only thing we were disappointed with was their slightly pricey rates. We felt that they could’ve slashed their prices a bit to make their services more accessible.
