Safebox Self Storage is a standout for anyone needing extra space. When we checked it out, we were impressed with the real focus on quality here, with climate-controlled options, along with super practical drive-up units.

Unlike a lot of older spots, everything here feels fresh and well-kept—and we actually peeked into a few units just to make sure. We also noticed their security is top-notch, with coded digital locks, a secure gated facility, and CCTV everywhere.

In fact, a couple of regulars mentioned it gives them legit peace of mind when storing valuable items. Perhaps our favorite convenience, though, is the Safebox app.

This app lets clients open the gates, check units, and even pay bills right from their phone—way more efficient than fumbling for keys or paperwork. Accessibility is another plus, since they offer 24/7 access, so no worrying about the schedule being a mess.

Sadly, some clients did mention that it can be tough to snag a unit due to demand, so availability is limited.

Chiang Mai Storage’s approach is all about simplicity and reassuring service—the team picks up, packs, and returns your stuff right on your schedule.

Quite a few regulars we spoke with love that they don’t have to lift a finger. Their spacious, purpose-built warehouse is designed with airflow in mind. This keeps the moisture and mold at bay. 

Plus, everything is stacked neatly on pallets and wrapped up for extra protection. With that said, you won’t find private units here, so everything really needs to be boxed.

On the good side, security seems tight, with layers of CCTV, security guards, and daily police rounds. In fact, the owner lives onsite, and there’s insurance to cover both the building and its contents.

Motorbikes or cars can be stored here as well! We also commend them for offering a free lift into town after drop-off, and for those going abroad, they can ship your goods just about anywhere.

MeSpace Patong has everything from compact luggage lockers to drive-in units for bigger hauls. 

One feature we like in particular is the storage space calculator on their website; it’s meant to help clients sort out exactly what size they’ll be needing. And thanks to that, there’s no one paying for a space they won’t use! 

Moreover, all their units are air-conditioned, clean, and pest-free, which a lot of clients pointed out as a huge plus.

There’s no shortage of security either—24/7 access is controlled with personalized PIN codes, double locks, CCTV, and on-site guards. We were also glad that there’s insurance coverage for every room!

Another perk is that the clients get free parking and huge elevators, so moving is a breeze. One minor downside: the sign-up paperwork can be a bit much, taking longer than you’d expect.

But once you’re through that, everything else runs smoothly.

Well-maintained units

“Stored our things for 2 months, everything was fine and we retrieved them without a problem. The staff was super helpful and nice and they spoke good English. The price is OK, have found a cheaper place, but this one seemed more well-maintained. Be prepared to buy a lock for your locker, otherwise, it will be left open (although there are cameras everywhere). You can also purchase some carton boxes there if you need any.”

We loved how smack in the middle of Bangkok both spots of Bangkok Self Storage Co. are. It’s basically impossible to make an inconvenient trip back and forth.

There wasn’t any faffing about with confusing choices either. They’ve laid out units from tiny lockers perfect for a couple of suitcases to massive mini-warehouses. The lease terms are also flexible enough that commitment-phobes won’t feel trapped.

Security here is taken very seriously. 24/7 cameras, patrolling guards, and individual padlocks—there’s even a coded gate if anyone is in the midnight move-in crew. The free trolleys definitely save the arms from a mini meltdown!

Furthermore, many of their clients were also obsessed with how tidy everything was. Mainly thanks to their regular pest control, which means no run-ins with mystery bugs, even during Bangkok’s dampest months. 

Our only gripe is that, with locations this central, people snap up units quickly, leaving last-minute planners to wait.

REDD Premium Self Storage is basically a multi-purpose space that makes anyone feel like they’re leveling up their storage game. Their selection goes from mini lockers barely big enough for a couple of boxes to private indoor garages roomy enough for a car.

They also have options for business stockpiles, travel luggage, and even outdoor storage for RVs. The entire process, from browsing sizes and rates online to making the actual booking and payment, is refreshingly efficient.

Plus, we’ve heard from clients that aside from 24/7 key-code access, REDD also sends real-time email alerts when someone enters. 

Moreover, their humidity control means the tropical ‘stickiness’ is kept at bay, so there’s real confidence in leaving sensitive equipment behind.

If there’s a downside, it’s the doors. We noticed that they never seem to stay open, so you might need to bring a friend for help if your arms are full. On the plus side, plenty of regulars commend the staff for being helpful!
