Sunset Beach is the most picturesque beach in Koh Jum, and it’s definitely worth checking out for its stunning sunset view. It’s also a vast golden sand beach, so there’s enough space to walk around, sunbathe, or set up a hammock between the trees.
Moreover, there are tree swings and small bars along the beach, so you can enjoy food and drinks while soaking in the cool ocean breeze. The beach’s shallow and calm water is also great for swimming, especially for children.
If you wait for the low tide, numerous rocks will also emerge offering some interesting photo opportunities. In fact, there’s also a massive rock with a destroyed wooden bungalow on top which is definitely one of the island’s most unique sights.
Laze around Coconut Beach

If you want a peaceful beach experience, Coconut Beach is a solid option. It’s tucked away at the northwesternmost portion of Koh Jum and Koh Pu with only one resort on-site, so you won’t have to worry about throngs of tourists while you’re there.
This beach also has fine white sands and crystal-clear waters, perfect for swimming and pleasant beach walks. Also, there are rocky coastlines on both sides of the beach, so be sure to bring snorkeling gear to observe its diverse marine life.
Explore the Koh Jum’s three-part Long Beach

Long Beach is a group of three small beaches in Koh Jum’s west end. They’re known collectively as one beach because they appear connected if you visit them during the high tide.
During this time, you can enjoy exploring this beach’s pristine and palm-fringed coastline, especially if you rent a kayak from any of the island’s resorts. Or you can wait for the low tide, so you can hop between the small beaches.
This includes Magic Beach, Ting Rai Beach, and Golden Pearl Beach. Magic Beach is our favorite because it has more shade trees and a cozy beach bar, so you can relax and drink while enjoying the refreshing atmosphere and scenery.
Check out the rock formations at the Rocky Beach
If you like snapping photos of coastal rock formations, Rocky Beach won’t disappoint. This beach on the northern tip of Koh Jum and Koh Pu is aptly named because its shore is packed with big and unique-looking rocks.
It’s not ideal for swimming and other water activities but it’s definitely worth visiting for the numerous photo opportunities it offers. Be sure to drop by during the low tide to see more rock formations.
