Bumrungrad International Hospital is the type of hospital that can offer world-class medical care at a competitive price point. We were no longer surprised that it can pull this off, thanks to its years of experience and pool of experts.

We also think it’s noteworthy that it provides various medical services through its different centres like the allergy centre, behavioural health centre, surgery centre, and of course, ear nose, and throat centre. 

Leading the ENT Centre of this facility is Dr. Metheetrairut, an impressive specialist with a vast expertise in ENT.

Dr. Choakchai Metheerairut is not only a clinical doctor who specialises in Otolaryngology but he is also an expert in Laryngology (neck and head surgery). He has been a medical practitioner since 1979, and it’s a big plus for us that he’s multi-skilled.

Most of the patients we interviewed liked the professional and efficient attitude of the doctors here. What we found notable though, is how simple and streamlined the processes in this hospital are which results in great convenience for its customers. 

A lot of the hospital’s patients also consistently praised the modern facilities of Bumrungrad International Hospital. These clients were also quick to point out how happy they were with how well they were treated by friendly and efficient hospital staff.

Most of these patients, though, felt like the hospital’s charges and overall cost were a bit pricier compared to others. However, the same customers said that they also understood the pricey procedures in this hospital due to its high quality of service. 

We can’t help but agree with the observation of these customers as a basic hearing and balance test can set one back around 8,500 THB.

With all of these things considered, we still see Bumrungrad International Hospital as a top choice for patients who want to receive high-quality medical services and have the extra funds to pay for the said premium healthcare packages.

The patients we talked to stated very positive things about the health facility, specifically its very skillful doctors and friendly staff. Most of these clients also praised the modern feel and hotel-like vibe of the hospital.

In addition, patients found the medical packages offered by this hospital to be quite cost-effective. With annual health check-ups costing around 4,400 THB, we can’t help but agree that the pricing is quite consumer-friendly.

One recurring issue that a lot of patients mentioned is the long wait times to see a doctor and purchase medicines. Again, we believe this is mostly due to the volume of patients being handled by the hospital during peak hours.

One of the hospital’s ENT experts is Dr. Danupat Ratanavaraha, a doctor with more than a decade of medical experience under his belt. He graduated from Khon Kaen University in 2011 and worked as a general practitioner before his ENT specialisation.

What impressed us the most about Dr. Ratanavaraha’s qualifications is his capability and background in completing some of the most complex ENT surgeries. These include ear surgeries (pinnaplasty) and nasal polyp surgeries.

The clients we interviewed were very satisfied and happy with the services at Vejthani Hospital. Most of them not only commended the exceptional service they received from doctors and staff, but also the add-ons they were provided by the facility.

We think it’s quite commendable that this Vejthani Hospital even provided the said patients with meals and Thai massages to make their hospital experience much more relaxing and enjoyable.

On the other hand, one of the common issues raised by some customers was how some appointments were not followed based on the schedule. 

However, we noted that these instances can be caused by some of the doctors’ need to attend to other more urgent cases.
