You can also easily check the rates online before heading over, since they seamlessly integrate their website and on-site branch. Or better yet, just download their app, available on both iOS and Android—super convenient!

When I visited their branch in Central World—location-wise, by the way—I was happy to see how accommodating and efficient the staff were. They’re also quite ahead of the game by accepting credit card and QR code payments, with no minimum amount required for exchanges.

However, my only concern was their strictness when it comes to the condition of the bills. Even a small stain can get your bill rejected, and they do require you to bring your actual passport, as photos won’t be accepted.

What I appreciated the most is their dedication to offering competitive rates, which many clients, including me, find worth the wait during busy hours. An added perk that sets them apart is their currency delivery service.

You simply need to reach out via the LINE messaging app, and they’ll arrange delivery, which is a lifesaver if you’re short on time or unable to visit the branch.

Their website is simple but effective, providing up-to-date exchange rates for a variety of currencies, which made planning much easier. This transparency is something I value.

However, one downside is the limited space inside the branch. It can get crowded quickly, especially during peak hours, and the lines can take a while.

K79 Exchange is located right along Sukhumvit Road near the On Nut BTS station, so it’s super easy to access. Their user-friendly website and mobile app let you conveniently check real-time exchange rates and even use a calculator to know exactly how much you’ll get.

Their rates are consistently competitive, which is why many regulars trust them for fair deals. Though I heard that the staff members here aren’t highly fluent in English, so communication might take an extra moment for some customers. 

That said, they make up for it with their warm and accommodating attitude, being quick and precise with transactions. They’re efficient, but one thing I noticed is how particular they are about the condition of your currency.

If you’re bringing in notes, they better be clean and unmarked; otherwise, they won’t accept them.

Nevertheless, I still like that their focus on competitive rates and transparency makes them worth recommending for anyone in the area.

They maintain a professional demeanor that reflects well on their air-conditioned, clean facility, complete with a comfortable waiting area featuring a sofa. It’s certainly a money exchange service to beat!

An added perk is their convenient location, easy to find and accessible since they’re located near the Nana BTS entrance.

My only concern is that, in an effort to quicken the service, some customers might feel slightly rushed. Nevertheless, I still like their overall speed and efficiency, which ensures you get through transactions swiftly without much delay.

What I like most is their ability to exchange over 100 currencies, including exotic ones like the Fiji dollar, Czech koruna, and even the Iraqi dinar.

I was also happy to learn that they even accept old, damaged, or out-of-circulation banknotes—a convenience that’s hard to find elsewhere.

Something else I was happy with was their location. Being inside a shopping mall makes it easy to combine errands, and since The Palladium is close to other transport links, traveling there is a breeze.

However, my only concern is that during peak hours, the staff seemed less warm, possibly due to the large number of customers they have to accommodate.
