If you crave halal food in Phuket, the Sandwich Club in Patong is a solid choice. This restaurant focuses on shawarma wraps, pita sandwiches, and baguette sandwiches, so it’s a great option if you need a quick bite, a full meal, or a snack on the go.
The foodies on our team particularly love their signature Arabic chicken shawarma. It’s loaded with more marinated meat and various Middle Eastern vegetables and spices than their standard chicken shawarma.
They also serve burgers and pizzas which can be ordered in a set with french fries and soda. You can also have it with numerous appetizers like hummus, Arabic salad, cheese balls, labneh, and more.
Pro Tip:
Sandwich Club is a streetside restaurant with no dedicated parking spot, so it might not be the best option if you’re driving a car. However, you can fit a motorbike in the small space by the storefront.

If you love Thai seafood as much as you like halal food, Siam Thai Restaurant is definitely your best option. They’re frequented for their excellent seafood dishes, from black pepper lobster to seafood tom yum, stir-fried tiger prawns, grilled fish, and more.
We particularly like their black pepper lobster because they keep their lobsters alive in a tank before cooking to ensure freshness. This restaurant also serves non-seafood dishes like Thai salads, noodles, fried rice, and curries.
Or if you want to skip Thai cuisine entirely, you can also opt for their international food offerings. This includes Western-style breakfast sets, sandwiches, Italian dishes, etc.
Pro Tip:
We recommend coming early because their service slows down when they’re packed. Also, Siam Thai Restaurant accepts card payments but charges an extra 3% transaction fee for them.

Aroon Po Chana is one of Old Town’s most established halal-friendly restaurants, so it’s certainly the clear-cut choice for halal food in Phuket. We also like their affordable prices so it’s perfect if you’re on a tight budget or planning to eat like a horse.
Their menu features a great selection of Thai and Indian food, so expect popular dishes like massaman curry, green curry, chicken biryani, roti, and more. But the restaurant’s biggest seller is their roti with over 15 flavors and combinations.
Our go-to is the original roti which you can order in a set with fried egg and a large serving of chicken or beef curry. If you’re feeling adventurous, their unique roti flavors like pandan and charcoal are also worth checking out.
Pro Tip:
On Fridays, Aroon Po Chana serves their special mutton curry, so we suggest visiting during this day if you’re a fan of goat meat.

Their menu’s wide selection of Thai rice dishes and Western-style appetizers and pastries are also a plus. Our team’s sweet-tooths particularly like their croffles, especially the mixed berry, strawberry, and banoffee!
Mashaa also has an excellent drink menu consisting of Italian sodas, coffee, Thai teas, and more. Their mango smoothie, in particular, is a solid choice if you crave some fruity goodness.

Nang Naan Halal Restaurant is a Muslim-owned food spot serving some of the best halal food in Phuket. They have a large menu, so expect a wide range of options, from classic Thai dishes to Italian pasta, sandwiches, burgers, and steak.
However, they’re most popular for their authentic Thai food. Think tom yum goong, pad Thai, mango sticky rice, and som tum.
Among them, we love the tom yum goong because of its rich, savory, and spicy broth. The portion is also large with 5 shrimp pieces, not to mention the free plate of fresh veggies with a spicy dipping sauce.
Pro Tip:
The restaurant has a kiddie playground, so it’s a great place for families with small kids. Also, we suggest avoiding peak hours for lunch and dinner because their service can be slow during this time.

If you’re searching for affordable halal food in Phuket, Roti Chaofa Phuket is an excellent option. This humble restaurant excels at roti but its menu also includes popular Indian dishes like chicken and beef biryani, chicken fried rice, goat curry, etc.
They focus on small portions so the average price of all their menu items is some of the cheapest you can find in Phuket. In fact, they only have two dishes that are priced over 80 baht: goat curry and large beef soup.
The smaller portions also give you a chance to try different dishes without breaking the bank. And everything they serve complements the 19 different roti flavors they have which is a plus.
Pro Tip:
They don’t have a designated parking space for customers, so it’s not ideal for customers driving a car. You can only park on the opposite side of the street but the space is limited so you must arrive early to secure a spot.

Levantine is a charming Lebanese restaurant known for serving exquisite Mediterranean halal food. We also like its traditional Beirut-style interior with warm-toned lights, Arabic furnishings, and patterned fabrics hanging on the ceiling.
This restaurant’s massive menu consists of Greek, Lebanese, Egyptian, and Turkish food, so there are plenty of options for fans of East Mediterranean cuisine. Hummus is their best-seller and we think it’s definitely a must-try, especially for your first time.
Their version is light, creamy, and flavorful, perfect while waiting for the main dish to arrive. Don’t forget to try their mint tea for some fragrant minty goodness.
Pro Tip:
Levantine also delivers to any hotel or resort within the Choeng Thale area. It’s a great option if you want to eat halal food in the comfort of your hotel room or villa.

Our team is a fan of their signature tom yum soup. The soup’s spicy broth and authentic Thai flavor are a massive plus.
Other dishes to watch out for are fried snapper, som tum, crab curry, and shrimp green curry. This restaurant is a great breakfast and brunch spot because they serve American, Continental, and Thai breakfast sets.

Anwa Yentofu Halal is one of the few affordable Thai restaurants where you can get halal food in Phuket’s town center. It has a charming and warm-toned brick interior but expect a more relaxed and fast food-like atmosphere.
They focus on cheap rice bowl dishes paired with classic Thai food like tom yum goong, pad Thai, fish noodle soup, green curry, and more. We also like the large portions they serve, perfect if you have a big appetite or are famished.
In fact, some of their menu items have jumbo size options which is great for group-sharing. Our only nitpick is the limited drink menu which only includes a few fruit juices, soft drinks, and bottled water.
Pro Tip:
Anwa Yentofu Halal is usually packed, especially during peak hours, so we recommend arriving early for lunch or dinner. It’s also worth mentioning that there are stray cats near the restaurant which is a hit or miss for some customers.
