What we love the best about the Decathlon is its reputation of being the best mid-range sporting goods store, not just in Thailand but perhaps also internationally. The quality of the products here is also excellent, especially for this pricing.

However, there are some things that customers might not like well about the store’s policies.

First is the mandatory membership needed to purchase anything from the store. You won’t be able to buy from Decathlon unless you consent to give your identifying information—if you’re a privacy advocate, then this is one giant red flag.

This warehouse store guarantees that every device is built to last—made with high-quality materials that can withstand consistent stress from exercise. 

We’re happy about its seven-year structural warranty and lifetime on-site service availability. It’s because it showed how confident of its products and committed Core Fitness is to customer service.

The in-store customer service is outstanding. Like our respondents, we loved the sales staff’s attentiveness and enthusiasm in explaining the features of products, even if we were only making inquiries.

If you can’t shop in person, you can order your fitness equipment from its official website or its official store in the leading shopping apps. Items are delivered 90% assembled for the customer’s easier setup—just get ready for a THB 900 shipping fee.

The shipping fee seems quite steep for dumbbells and weights, though, costing THB 500 for EACH item. Ultimately, we suggest you still shop in-store for the best pricing.

Super Sports is an excellent choice for fitness equipment if you’re looking for a local, trusted Thai brand in Bangkok. We’ve looked at its flagship store in Centralworld, where aside from sporting goods, it offers many types and brands of exercise equipment. 

A brief background: Super Sports was founded in 1997 and currently has 98 stores all across the country. It’s well known for its mid-range pricing; however, one can still find cheap and costly products here, which is true for its fitness equipment.

However, some of our respondents see Super Sports’ pricing as quite expensive, so perhaps the verdict on how expensive shopping here is depends on which item you’ll buy.

Being in one of Bangkok’s largest shopping malls, it’s not surprising that Super Sports Centralworld is the chain’s biggest store. We like that despite the vast floor area, the store is laid out in a way conducive to customers.

But a drawback of the shopping experience is that the staff could be rude and unhelpful to the customers. 

Some of our respondents even felt like the sales staff they chanced upon did not intend to serve customers. We hope the store is already working towards improving said customer service. 

You can shop in person or order online (with free delivery), but we highly suggest you visit the store physically to get better discounts.

TechnoGym is one of the biggest names internationally for fitness equipment. It was established around the 1980s in Cessna, Italy and now has a Bangkok showroom in Ekamai.

This brand makes different exercise machines such as treadmills, rowers, ellipticals, and even bikes. But, perhaps its most remarkable product is the space-saver “multi gym” called Unica, marketed towards home exercise enthusiasts.
