Aspire is a state-of-the-art boutique gym and a private personal training studio in the heart of Bangkok. If you need a program that targets your holistic needs, Aspire is the best place to go because of its modern and scientific approach.

We were impressed to see their medical advisory of endocrinologists, genetic specialists, physiotherapists, nutritionists, and exercise psychologists. It looks like this impressive team of professionals can help people in need of a lifestyle transformation.

Furthermore, the programs at Aspire aim to help clients through science-based individualized programs, which consist of strategic nutrition, mindset, movement, private performance coaching, and guidance on lifestyle habits.

From our experience at Aspire, we noticed that they are unlike mainstream commercial gyms in the city. Notably, it is smaller but features good-looking facilities and the latest equipment.

Also, unlike other gyms, Aspire is focused on personal trainer sessions. We like that they offer a free strategy session to formulate an individualized approach for each client.

Another thing that we like is its Clean & Lean Transformation Program which is perfect for people who want to lose weight. We found the package tempting because of its science-based workout programs, nutritional coaching, and a dedicated personal trainer, among others.

Additionally, this Clean & Lean Transformation Program has produced successful results in over a thousand clients since Aspire was established in 2002. We think that this program is outstanding in helping people transform their entire lifestyle and not just their bodies.

FiTin25 is a fitness studio in the heart of the Silom business district, and it specializes in using Electric Muscular Stimulation (EMS) technology.

Interestingly, EMS works through impulse currents from a machine for a total body workout. If you are interested in trying out new fitness concepts, definitely stop by FiTin25.

It was this fast-growing fitness trend that led us to check out Fitin25. Moreover, we were curious to see how the training works since it is touted to be up to 15 times more efficient than standard workouts since EMS activates over 90 percent of the muscle fibers during each contraction.

First, each session starts with a personal trainer to fit you in the EMS gear and lead you through a series of exercises, each designed to stimulate a specific muscle group. 

Since each session only lasts 25 minutes, we found this a perfect fit for people who have less time. Moreover, people barely sweat during an EMS training session, making it a suitable choice for those who do not like exercise and sweating. 

While it may feel initially nerve-wracking when trying out this fitness concept, we appreciate how the personal trainers at FiTin25 showed their expertise in handling the gear. Additionally, they are very encouraging and motivational during the sessions, making the routine easy to follow.

Another thing that we like about FiTin25 is that its rates are relatively cheap compared to regular personal training sessions. Notably, each session only costs 1,300 Baht, while a trial will only set you back 800 Baht.

BASE is an award-winning personal training and group class studio. It is impressive that it has been awarded as “Bangkok’s Best Studio” by ClassPass and Asia’s “Gym of the Year.”

A reason why BASE stands out amongst the plethora of gyms in Bangkok is due to its signature approach to strength and cardio training. With their proprietary Baseline Technology, training at this studio is data-driven and strategic.

We also like the thorough process of starting a personal training session with one of the trainers at BASE. The detailed six-step process ensures an individualized training session for each client.

Notably, a personal training session at BASE begins with an interview, basic movement assessments, body composition scans, fitness assessments, programming and accountability, and nutrition.

We were impressed by the latest equipment found at BASE, which is a combination of weights and cardio equipment, including rowing machines, air bikes, and treadmills. The clean lockers and showers, and the complimentary towels and toiletries are a plus in our books.

The FuelBar is also a convenient addition to the studio, where clients can purchase protein shakes and snacks before or after working out.

Also, we appreciate the sincerity and helpfulness of their staff. We were glad to see that the other coaches go out of their way to help clients even during group sessions with a different coach.

Finally, we like that BASE is accessible in three locations at Sathorn, Thonglor, and Chidlom. Their variety of classes can cater to all fitness levels and can go on from 40 to 60 minutes.

Training Ground is known as one of the best Crossfit gyms in Bangkok. Notably, this place has a team of five certified personal trainers who are experts at developing individual Crossfit and nutritional programs for their clients.

We were amazed to see the massive space at Training Ground. It is also notable that they have plenty of well-maintained equipment and clean shower rooms.

Something that we appreciated seeing here is the friendly and warm community and staff. Based on the people we talked with, the welcoming atmosphere initially drew them to Training Ground.

We like how straightforward things are at Training Ground, especially the transparent rates and pricing for Crossfit classes and personal training. Their rates for personalized coaching are as follows:

  • 1 PT Session, 2,500 Baht
  • 10 PT Sessions, 22,000 Baht
  • 20 PT Sessions, 40,000 Baht
  • 50 PT Sessions, 90,000 Baht

Personal training classes are geared toward performance programming for athletes, physio and rehab programming, and specialized coaching for weight loss and flexibility. A CISSN Certified Sports Nutritionist is even on board to address diet concerns.

Furthermore, their unlimited Crossfit classes are priced reasonably at $4,500 Baht per month. We think it’s even better to subscribe to their 12-Month packages, which can give clients over 22 percent in discounts.

While some locals expressed that they felt that the rates are expensive at first, they concluded that they get every cent they pay for given the training from the experienced coaches, facilities, and high-quality classes.

The LAB Bangkok is a boutique gym that offers private training sessions for individuals and groups. Their services range from individualized training programs to group fitness classes.

Located in the heart of the city, the LAB Bangkok is a well-equipped facility for athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and individuals looking to achieve fitness goals. We noticed that the sessions in this gym specialize in strength, conditioning, and functional movement training.

We think that the stars of The LAB Bangkok are their personal trainers: Richard and Pean. While there are only two trainers on board, they are pros in their field and have many certifications and experience in a wide variety of training methods.

Richard Cohen, the founder, specializes in weight loss programs and has gained the trust of thousands of clients in his nearly 20 years of working in the fitness industry in Bangkok. Additionally, he has plenty of experience in nutrition coaching and rehabilitation services.

From our surveys, we are happy to see many of their satisfied clients who have achieved their fitness goals through the coaching at The LAB Bangkok. Clients often mentioned how motivating and encouraging the coaches are, and that enabled them to push past their limits.

Moreover, we like that the training packages can be purchased through their website. They also have various programs available depending on your goals and fitness level.

Finally, we also like that the personal training sessions at The LAB Bangkok are competitively priced, where a session costs 2,000 Baht. On the downside, the costs are more than double for non-members.

Squat Revolution Co. is ran and owned by Jesper Carlson. He has dedicated his entire life in the field of health and well-being in various forms since 2010.

He’s had extensive experience as a physical trainer and physiotherapist for football teams in Thailand and Sweden.

We’re impressed by his other credentials as he’s a Trained Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (CBT), Certified Masseur and a Certified Physiotherapist. Plus he holds Diplomas in Sports Massage and Sport Medicine.

In 2016, he decided to put up Squat Revolution Co. where he offers a wide range of health and well-being services.

His services include Personal Training (both In-Person and Online), to Physiotherapy and Life Coaching.

We like how holistic his services are and the fact that they don’t simply tackle the physical aspect of health.

In all the years he’s been in the business, he’s helped many individuals improve their strength and stability even after an injury.

When it comes to building strength and mobility to improve performance, we think he’s a great choice for a personal trainer!
