CHANG HomePro is the handyman arm of HomePro, the home improvement shop. With over 1,500 teams nationwide, this service promises to handle just about anything for the house, from big home renovations to small electrical fixes.
We’re partial towards its 24/7 Emergency Service that has technicians arriving within two hours, for urgent issues like burst pipes or busted circuit breakers. We love CHANG HomePro’s accessibility via phone, Line, or the dedicated CHANG HomePro app.
As for work itself, the technicians are pretty good! The one-year service warranty also gives extra peace of mind.
That said, CHANG HomePro is far from perfect. We didn’t experience it ourselves, but some clients felt that scheduling of follow-up jobs is inconsistent, likely because of the huge number of clients (old and new) the service handles daily.
All in all, we deem that CHANG HomePro is best for small, one-time projects rather than long-term ones.

With over 7,000 clients at least in the past 7 years, FIXIT definitely has built a solid and reputable track record as an on-call handyman service. It’s known for having reliable staff and timely, high-quality workmanship that keeps clients coming back.
FIXIT covers general repairer tasks such as electrical repairs, plumbing, painting, and air conditioning servicing for homes and businesses. It also takes on larger-scale jobs, say installing a new countertop, though that is treated as a premium service.
While it’s smaller compared to some of its big-time competitors, FIXIT’s quality of work is impressive. The downside, unfortunately, is the customer support line.
Response to client inquiries can be slow, with some clients feeling left in the dark on delays (or lack thereof) or reverts. The company doesn’t post updates about service interruptions or fully booked days on its website or social media, and that’s a bit disappointing.
On top of that, pricing seems to be on the higher side, but we’d still call it fair for the dependable technicians.

For a handyman service with longevity, ServiceGenie is worth a look.
ServiceGenie was founded back in 2002 by Engr. Genie (yes, there’s actually a namesake for this company). One day, she discovered her passion for fixing stuff in her own home, and made it into a full-blown business venture.
It does everything from small home repairs (odd jobs) to niche services like furniture upholstering and curtain washing. The fees aren’t the cheapest, but these reflect the good quality of work and the fair wages paid to the staff—win-win.
Now, one drawback is the availability of the ServiceGenie handymen. The service seems to be so popular that wait times can take from one to three days for minor jobs, and up to a week for bigger tasks.
Another con is the limited payment options. ServiceGenie currently accepts bank transfers only, but we hope they’ll be more flexible. Like, at least allow cash payment for tasks under THB 2,000, please!

The Thai word, borigarn, means “service,” and it’s a fitting name for this company. While Borigarn mainly provides maid services to households, it also has a handyman line of business for private and commercial clients, even fast food restaurants like McDonald’s.
Though it only covers Bangkok, Borigarn handles plenty of jobs such as painting, electrical, plumbing, and other small home repairs. We’re glad it’s available on the weekends—no more need to get out of work just to oversee our house repairs!
Still, what really stands out to us is the company’s renovation and finishing works expertise, backed by an impressive portfolio of post-earthquake repair projects online.
With the quality and keen attention to detail, it isn’t surprising that some clients find the fees pricey but fair.
That said, booking Borigarn might also be a feat if its books are full. You may have to wait longer to be accommodated.
