Pros
- Modern gym equipment
- Great variety of Muay Thai Programs
- Good value for money with added services
Cons
- Lacks certain weightlifting equipment and supplies
Fitness One doesn’t just focus on improving the Muay Thai skills of its students but it also focuses on overall wellness. They offer not just boxing courses but also some weight loss and weight management programs to improve your health and wellness.
We liked that their Muay Thai packages include beginner, intermediate, and professional services. Enrolling with them means you can choose what kind of program you want to attend based on your skill level or expertise – a plus in our books!
What’s more is that you get personalised training and attention from some of the best Muay Thai trainers in Thailand. We were impressed that these experts aren’t just teachers but have also seen their share of fights so expect to get pro tips from them!
We also liked that their program will grant you access to their advanced weight training equipment and gym. At 499 THB per session, we think this is great value for money since there’s the training from experts plus access to their world-class gym equipment.
The only thing we wished they improved, though, is the addition of essential strength training accessories. We noted that the gym lacked chalk powder and lifting belts which we feel is a missed opportunity for those looking to do weightlifting.

Pros
- Flexible training options
- Skilled and experienced coaches
- Adequate gym for sparring and training
Cons
- Pricey private sessions
Muay Thai Academy is one of the if not the most flexible schools we’ve seen in Bangkok thanks to its myriad approaches to learning. Aside from group, private, and kids Muay Thai training, there’s also the convenience of doing online or home-based training.
We were also thoroughly impressed with their trainers who are actually coaches, meaning you get real-world skills and knowledge from experts who are constantly in and around the Muay Thai ring.
They also offer either group or private training which we think is great, especially for beginners. You can go for their private sessions if you’re not that confident yet or can choose their group sessions to hone your skills with other students.
We also noted that their gym is appropriate for sparring sessions and some simple strength training. While we would have liked to see other gym equipment for cardio, we think their training area is more than adequate to train you into a better fighter.
Plus, it’s a plus in our books that they offer other forms of fighting techniques such as Western boxing. You can choose to enrol in one program and then try out different fighting styles to become a well-rounded fighter.
The only downside we noted is the pricey private sessions with their professional trainers cum coaches. For us, the price of around 1,200 THB per class is a bit expensive, especially for those starting out on their Muay Thai journey.

Pros
- Amazing sparring gym
- Great boxing equipment (punching bags and mitts)
- Variety of Muay Thai levels and courses
Cons
- Pricey private sessions
- Coordination between administrative staff and trainers can be improved
RSM Rajadamnern Singha Muay Thai Academy takes pride in being a boxing studio that produces world-class fighters.
We’re impressed to see the gym’s facilities, as it’s decked in sparring mats with punching bags hanging all around showing students and guests they mean business.
We also like that they offer different levels of Muay Thai training where you can learn advanced fighting skills or join a class to develop the fundamentals of this ancient martial art. They even have a Muay Thai Kid program for kids who want to start early!
Furthermore, we appreciate that they have RSM private sessions for those who want a more personalised training session. However, we’re a bit iffy that this program costs more since the rates start at 1,500 THB.
This private session, though, will ensure the undivided attention of their passionate trainers. For us, this is a great option as you can expect to learn pin-point kicks and power punches while the private trainer corrects your form and your moves.
An additional downside we noted was the poor coordination between the administrative staff and the trainers. It would have been ideal if reservations were endorsed by staff to trainers so as not to affect the schedule of attending students.

Pros
- Great gym with lodging and other amenities
- Unlimited Muay Thai classes
- Has weightlifting equipment
Cons
- Trainers and classes tend to get booked too quickly
If you really want to immerse yourself in Muay Thai training, then you need to check out what Petchyindee Kingdom has to offer. Aside from their trial and unlimited classes, they offer other services such as access to a jacuzzi and lodging with meals.
We were impressed with this setup as this is ideal for students who want to take their unlimited monthly classes.
Imagine waking up and then directly joining a class anytime you want before ending the day and going back to the gym’s nearby lodging—convenient, eh?
We noticed, though, that their classes are popular and tend to have large groups of students. But we like that the gym provided 2 trainers during these instances.
This attention to details is a plus in our books since we think it helps the trainers better focus on the students’ fighting form, helping them improve their Muay Thai strikes.
Aside from their sessions, we like that Petchyindee Kingdom also has dumbbells and other weightlifting equipment for strength training.
The availability of these items are great for those who want to enhance their strength and build some muscles while waiting for the next class to begin.
As for the downsides, we found a couple minor ones.
First, classes and trainers can get booked pretty quickly. So if you want to join a class, you have to book in advance at least 4 hours before the schedule.
Pricing can also be quite high at 3,000 THB per month for unlimited sessions and we think that it is especially if you’re not going to take advantage of this Muay Thai buffet.
Nonetheless, if you plan on attending a ton of classes, then this is the way to go!

Pros
- Fun learning environment
- Great coaches with a casual but professional approach
- Numerous activities to improve your striking skills
Cons
- The gym has limited space
Watchara MuayThai Gym may offer some great private Muay Thai training sessions but, if you ask us, it’s their group sessions that really stand out. Here, they offer private and group classes based on your needs and your preferences.
Clients can go for the private session if they want to train alone or with a group, and this will cost more at around 9,600 THB for 10 sessions.
However, we think there’s also an advantage if you go for their group classes which only cost 3,600 THB for 10 classes.
From what we’ve observed, the trainers during these group sessions are great at handling students with their casual approach to training while imparting important Muay Thai moves and techniques.
We were also impressed with the amount of mat work you get from the coaches here. Working on mitts, mats, and punching bags is a great way to develop your striking skills and at this gym, you get lots of opportunities to do these – a big plus if you ask us!
We just wish they had a bigger gym so they can accommodate more pupils. However, we also appreciate how they are able to fit all of the prospective students into their well-organised schedule for each day.
On the downside, prices can still be a bit pricey if you go for multiple sessions. However, with the kind of fun and organised learning you experience here, we think it’s worth every penny!
