Aside from acupuncture, Lekang offers a wide variety of services such as Gua Shua, Moxibustion, Fire Cupping Therapy, Herbal Mud Mask, Deep Tissue Massage, Blood Letting Therapy, and Chinese Herbal Medicine as part of its treatment plans for its clients. 

We like that this clinic has accessible and affordable rates for its treatments. Acupuncture sessions only cost 1,000 to 1,200 Baht per area, and patients even receive free sessions when purchasing ten or twenty at a time.

Another great thing about Lekang Acupuncture Clinic is its friendly and approachable staff. Moreover, they are responsive to inquiries on LINE and very patient when answering questions.

The doctors in the clinic are also fluent in Chinese, Thai, and English, making it a popular spot for tourists who need pain relief treatments through TCM. 

We are glad to see so many positive comments from patients in our surveys. Many have stated experiencing relief from long-term pain even after only several acupuncture sessions.

On a final note, we appreciate the modern facilities at Lekang Acupuncture Clinic. Unlike older, typical TCM clinics, this place has an airy atmosphere with its treatment rooms clean and bright.

Walking into Grace Clinic, it felt like we were entering a spa and not a Traditional Chinese Medicine facility. Its modern facilities are impressive, with well-decorated rooms and a reception area that looks like a luxurious living room.

Furthermore, its treatment rooms look like those in hospitals, with their sliding panels and sterile atmosphere.

On the other hand, we found it a bit tricky to locate the clinic. While Grace Clinic is easily accessible from the BTS Phromphong, patients have to climb up from the parking area since it’s on the second floor, above the car park.

Nonetheless, the knowledgeable TCM doctors here are worth visiting because of their good track record in treating many kinds of ailments. From insomnia and eczema to chronic pains, many patients have found relief in their treatments at Grace Clinic.

Another great thing about this clinic is that there are no language barriers since the doctors are fluent in English, Mandarin, and Thai. When communicating health issues, consultations are quick and thorough.

Finally, we appreciate that this Grave Clinic is transparent with its treatment costs, even though they are not the cheapest in the area. Its acupuncture rates are as follows:

Next on our list is Mandarin Clinic which has been around since 2011. At the helm of this clinic is Dr. Thaninthorn Anuntasoraruk, or Dr. Orm, a licensed acupuncturist with extensive training at the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and China-Japan Friendship Hospital.

Notably, Dr. Orm is also a certified Cosmetic Acupuncturist and has learned to use gold acupuncture needles and traditional Chinese medicinal herbs for skin problems, weight management, anti-aging, longevity, and women’s health. 

What’s great about Mandarin Clinic is the wide variety of services offered at the facility. Aside from the run-of-the-mill TCM procedures, this clinic also does General Physical Examinations, TCM Hormone Balancing, and Herbal Sauna. 

Moreover, the acupuncturists at Mandarin Clinic give special consideration to their patients who are afraid of needles. In this case, they have developed special techniques depending on each case and will treat the patients through Herbal Sauna.

We are glad to have surveyed many of the patients at Mandarin Clinic who experienced relief from chronic pain symptoms. We also noticed that their acupuncture treatments and cupping therapy are well-known among the locals for treating Office Syndrome.

Overall, we are happy with how the acupuncturists at Mandarin Clinic responded to our questions during treatment. They were very patient in explaining the procedure and were helpful in offering their knowledge in discussing how to help us resolve certain issues through TCM.

If you want to visit a traditional facility that has been around for over 20 years, Hua Chiew TCM Hospital is the one for you. It was founded in 1995 by Dr. Zheng Wuluo, a leading Traditional Chinese Doctor and an affiliate of the Thailand Health Ministry.

Interestingly, Hua Chiew is in the Chinese Medicine Hospital of Baode Shantang, the largest and oldest charity organization in Thailand.

It is also noteworthy that many acupuncturists and TCM doctors are available for consultations and treatment. Annually, the hospital treats over 200,000 TCM patients in its branch in Bangkok.

While walk-ins are accepted at the hospital, we like the convenience of booking online through its website. Through the online booking platform, patients can choose which doctor best suits their schedule and needs.

Another thing we like is that Hua Chiew offers boiling services and vacuum sealing to its patients. These are convenient add-ons since keeping the Chinese herbal medicines fresh is important, and boiling them at home for consumption requires high heat and pressure.

We also appreciate the affordable treatment rates at Hua Chiew TCM Hospital. Its acupuncture treatments cost 5 Bhat per needle, and the doctor’s fees are only 400 to 450 Baht for every consultation. 

Of course, the number of needles used greatly varies depending on the conditions needed to be treated per patient. On the other hand, total costs at this hospital end up lower than at other TCM clinics in Bangkok.

Located on the top level of 953 Community Mall, in the heart of Sukhumvit Soi 53, is a beauty destination called Haru Wellness Clinic. A notable thing that sets it apart from other acupuncture and TCM clinics in Bangkok is its focus on Japanese Cosmetic Acupuncture.

Interestingly, the clinic aims to standardize acupuncture for beauty and health regiments, similar to the regimen of Japanese women. Since a large portion of the Western world only turns to TCM as an alternative means to treat ailments, Haru seeks to make it the first choice in skin health and wellness.

Haru believes wellness is a routine, not a last resort when all else has failed. We like that they are raising this advocacy to the local community.

Moreover, we like that it aims to enhance beauty and skin health through its signature treatments. The Haru Signature treatment is recommended to naturally enhance beauty and skin health.

We like that the treatment was barely painful, with only biting sensations at some points. This is probably due to the smaller needles measuring 0.12mm used in Haru Wellness Clinic, compared to the usual 0.25mm in traditional Chinese acupuncture. 

We also appreciate that the acupuncturist conducted a thorough skin examination before starting the treatment. Facial beauty concerns like sagging skin, puffiness, fine lines, acne, melasma, and puffiness are addressed through cosmetic acupuncture.

It’s also great that the clinic offers a Haru Bride package as a pre-wedding treatment, including skin care and body shaping. This particular treatment stimulates endorphin release and is best started two months before the wedding day.

On a final note, while its services seem limited compared to other acupuncture and TCM clinics, we like that Haru Clinic has an area of focus in which its acupuncturists can give their best treatments.

Suankwangtung Clinic is a reputable establishment that specializes in traditional Chinese medicine, offering a range of treatments to promote health and beauty.

We like how Suankwangtung Clinic houses certified doctors who have mastered German naturopathic and Chinese medicine from Shanghai. Their extensive training and knowledge enable them to provide accurate diagnoses and effective treatments based on the principles of traditional Chinese medicine.

Aside from this, the clinic’s emphasis on alternative medicine and traditional Chinese practices highlights their commitment to holistic healing. Acupuncture, along with other treatments offered, aims to address the root causes of diseases or imbalances in the body, rather than simply treating symptoms.

This approach promotes overall well-being and can have long-lasting effects on health.

The clinic also prides itself on providing genuine care and valuing its guests. The specialized professionals take the time to listen attentively to patients’ concerns and address them with empathy and understanding. We like how Dr. Shane Preechawanichwong’s educational record, including a master’s degree in Chinese medicine with a specialization in gynecology, demonstrates his deep understanding and expertise in traditional Chinese medicine.

Knowing this, we can say that his academic achievements and experience make him a reliable and skilled practitioner.

We prefer him more than others as his work experience as a Chinese physician at Yin Yang Clinic and his previous role at Hua Chiao Chinese Medicine Clinic contribute to his clinical expertise.

The practical experience gained from working with patients in these clinical settings enhances his ability to provide effective acupuncture treatments.
