Vivid Dance Studios Chiang Mai focuses heavily on modern styles like K-Pop, Twerk, Street Jazz, and Hip-Hop. The facility also offers single walk-in rates, private instruction, and even separate studio-room rentals.

Their Cover Dance classes are incredibly popular, teaching you the exact choreography from trending music videos. They break down the fundamentals beautifully for you, making it easy to pick up the footwork and musicality.

You can also opt for dance-team packages that include professional video production.

Kids can start private lessons as young as four, while group sessions cater to ages five and up.

The main downside is their overwhelming focus on pop-oriented and street styles. If you want classical training or traditional ballroom, you won’t find those options in their curriculum.

  • Dance-team training includes video production
  • Dedicated beginner classes and kids’ options

Cons

We’re having fun and grooving

AWESOME zumba classes with FonFon. She’s a great and fun teacher. I extra love it because she makes me laugh, and her more advanced students are also following in her friendly footsteps so us newbies don’t feel self-consciousa. We’re dancing and getting a workout, but most importantly we’re having fun and grooving. That is SO important in having a great time dancing. The establishment itself is very well run by a team of hardworking young women. They also have kids classes and I can see they’re all enjoying themselves. Come try!

The rehearsal room was beautifully set up and clean

The entire team was incredibly lovely and professional. Everything was a fantastic team effort. The rehearsal room was beautifully set up and clean, and all the equipment was readily available. It was more than worth the price! 🔥💓 …

She is very dedicated and has an amazing way of teaching

This is such a welcoming and supportive studio. I took a few private classes with Fern and learned so much in a short time. She is very dedicated and has an amazing way of teaching, even if you’re starting from level zero. I would absolutely come back to Chiang Mai just to dance with her again 🥹 …

Everyone is so welcoming and friendly

Just remember it’s on the second floor of its building~ Everyone is so welcoming and friendly!! This studio has a performance stage vibe to it. And the class videos come out awesome. We’ve also heard the teachers here bring serious competitive experience from events like the UDO Asia-Pacific Street Dance Championships. Plus, there are dedicated junior instructors for younger kids.

Their program covers Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, and Tap, so there’s something for beginners as well as more experienced dancers.
