Dr. Teprasa graduated with a medical degree in 1993, with a field specialization in pediatrics. He also speaks both English and Thai, making him an ideal doctor for both locals and foreigners. 

With almost three decades of medical experience, we were no longer surprised to find out that Dr. Teprasa is one of the best pediatricians working at Mission Hospital Bangkok.

When it comes to facilities, we can’t help but admire the soothing and relaxing feel of the hospital. The grounds and the building of Mission Hospital Bangkok make guests feel like they are going on some sort of retreat.

What we found impressive about Mission Hospital is that, despite its seemingly relaxed atmosphere, it actually offers a wide variety of medical services.

Some notable ones include services from their GI and Liver Clinic, Surgical Clinic, Women’s Clinic, and NCD Clinic.

Customers also claim that they liked the service they received from this hospital, especially the way they were treated by doctors and medical staff. 

We also liked that the hospital got consistent compliments on how fluent its doctors and staff are in the use of the English language. 

One negative point, though, is that some customers think the hospital can be sometimes understaffed for a 24-hour facility.

Standard vaccination packages for infants only cost 5,600 to 6,000 Thai Baht. With these competitive rates and considering the expertise, facilities, and excellent customer rating of this facility, we think that patients got their money’s worth.

Next, we have Dr. Karl Kalavantavanich of Bumrungrad International Hospital, a popular pediatrician in Thailand. He may be familiar to those who like using social media due to  his very informative and helpful video interviews found on various platforms.

A graduate of Chulalongkorn University back in 1991, Dr. Kalavantavanich is a pediatrician who specializes in pediatric allergy, immunology, and pulmonology.

He also has numerous board certifications and fellowships from prestigious organizations. These prove that Dr. Kalavantavanich is a renowned medical professional with more than 30 years of experience.

Bumrungrad International Hospital is home to the pediatric team of Dr. Kalavantavanich. We think that this hospital is perfect for pediatric patients because of what its facility and equipment can offer.

It has impressive medical suites and state-of-the-art technology for diagnosis and treatment.

However, what we really liked about this facility is that it has a Coordination Office. This Office handles the overall coordination of patient needs and services such as airport pick-ups, travel services, and customer service desks for foreigners.

We truly commend the customer-centric approach of this facility!

Patients of the Bumrungrad International Hospital are also generally satisfied with the quality of services they received. Clients also praised the care and attention given to them by doctors and hospital staff.

However, most customers admitted that they paid more for the services of this hospital compared to other facilities. 

BNH hospital has in its roster Prof. Emeritus Dr. Kitti Angsusingha, a pediatrician specializing in endocrinology.

What really impressed us is the fact that Dr. Angsusingha is not only a talented physician but also a respected medical professional in the academic field. Aside from his medical practice, he is currently a faculty member at Mahidol University.

In terms of experience, this doctor has five decades under his belt. No wonder Dr. Angsusingha is considered an expert both in the field of medicine and the academe!

On the other hand, BNH hospital has been in the medical service industry since 1898. Despite the facility’s age, we were surprised that the hospital has been updated and looks quite modern.

In fact, most patients claim that paying a visit to this hospital feels like checking into a five-star hotel. More importantly, though, the hospital provides its patients with good quality services that include surgery and pediatric health and wellness.

Patients we spoke with also mentioned they received excellent care and attention from doctors and hospital staff. Additionally, we liked that they felt relaxed and ready for recovery because of the hospital’s very modern and comfortable facilities.

On the downside, we’re a bit iffy about the long lines at the cashier. Customers also complained about the somewhat higher rate of procedures for patients without any health insurance.

Just like other physicians, pediatricians often focus on other specific fields of study such as orthopedics. To address the orthopedic issues of pediatric patients, Dr. Verasak Thamkunanon of Vejthani Hospital just might be the best doctor to call.

Dr. Verasak Thamkunanon specializes in pediatric and orthopedic surgeries and is a graduate of Mahidol University, Bangkok. 

He is also certified by the Thai Board of Family medicine. We think this affiliation makes him one of the most reliable and sought-after pediatricians in Thailand.

His services can be availed via the Vejthani Hospital – Super Kid’s Center, one of the leading hospitals in Bangkok. This hospital has been in business since 1994 and offers numerous different services to patients.

These services include cancer and surgical treatments along with cosmetic and pediatric services. What impressed us most is their state-of-the-art mini-invasive joint surgery technique.

We also liked that they have a water jet liposuction treatment. The said modern techniques further strengthen the modern and high-quality services this hospital offers.

Another notable thing for us is that most customers we spoke with praised the facilities and services they received from Vejthani Hospital. 

In fact, some patients who were previously anxious about going to hospitals felt really comfortable in this hospital. This was mostly due to the professional staff and the hospital’s clean and modern interiors.

Because of their generally positive experience, we think patients got their money’s worth when they availed medical services from Vejthani Hospital.

The only issue raised by customers is that coordination with health insurance companies can take some time. However, we think this is due to the volume of patients being handled by the hospital, especially during peak hours.

Bangkok Hospital is home to one of the best pediatric pulmonologists in Thailand, Dr. Thritriat Ratanasila. With more than a decade of experience, Dr. Ratanasila is a pediatrician with a sub-specialization in pulmonology. 

As such, kids with pulmonary issues can schedule an appointment with Dr. Ratanasila at Bangkok Hospital.

Meanwhile, we like Bangkok Hospital because it offers various medical services from its different medical centers. These include its Heart Center, Brain Center, Dental Care Center, and Child Wellness Center. 

Another thing we like is that this facility is considered one of the best and most modern in Thailand. It also provides patients with clean and spacious waiting areas. 

We also have to give it to Bangkok Hospital for having a robotic arm serve freshly brewed coffee to patients!

Hospital rooms are also top-notch with generous designated areas for guests to lounge around while waiting for their patient’s recovery.

A lot of their patients claim that aside from excellent services, they really liked the high-tech equipment used by Bangkok Hospital.

Most patients believe, however, that this hospital charges slightly higher fees when compared to its competitors. One customer claimed that he had to pay 7,000 Thai Baht in this hospital which would only cost around 4,000 Thai Baht in another hospital.
