Pure Car Rent is an established Phuket car rental company founded in 1974. Upon checking them out, we noted that their vehicles are well-maintained and reasonably priced, with acceptable to excellent gas mileage.

We also appreciate their varying rates that can accommodate various needs.Their pricing list includes standard and special rates for daily, weekly, and monthly car rentals, along with promotional rates during peak and low seasons.

During the low season, their daily rate can get as low as 600 baht, which we found affordable. Plus, they have convenient car delivery and pick-up service.

On the downside, not all pricing are listed on their website so you must contact them for the quotes for specific locations in Phuket. 

Moreover, Pure Car Rent only has sedans, MPVs, and one compact hatchback from Toyota and Honda, which is a bit limited for us.

Offers almost brand new rental cars for reasonable prices

CTT Phuket Car Rental is a family-run rental company known for its friendly owners and complimentary car pick-up and drop-off service. 

When we spoke with the owners, Poy and Nathan, we liked how easy they are to talk to and are responsive to our inquiries. They also deliver the cars personally, so they’re with you for the car check and contract signing. 

But here’s where it gets better: they also wait patiently for clients with delayed flights without charging additional fees. Another massive plus in our books is the built-in cameras and Apple CarPlay in their vehicles.

On the downside, they don’t have a proper website so there’s no convenient way to self-check all the types of vehicles they offer and their availability. You also need to reach out to them first if you want a rundown of the rental prices.

Nina’s Cars stands out from other Phuket car rental companies for their large roster of rental vehicles. They have around 50 rental cars, ranging from sedans to SUVs, pick-up trucks, and minivans!

What we like most about Nina’s Cars is they let you rent their vehicles without any deposit. 

Moreover, all their rental cars are covered by insurance for all kinds of damages and you have access to their 24/7 assistance in case of road accidents. The full list of cars with rental price ranges on their website is also a plus in our books!

But we have a minor issue with their slightly pricey minimum daily rate of 700 baht for their cheapest sedan. Plus, they still need to factor in the obligatory 7% VAT and adjust it depending on the rental duration and current season. 

Their office’s short business hours are also a bit inconvenient, so you’ll have to consider this when inquiring with them.

The best thing about Angel Car Rental Phuket Airport is their convenient location. Their office is only a 3-minute walk from Phuket International Airport, so you get quick access to their rental cars shortly after you land and deplane.

We also appreciate the diverse selection of vehicle types and brands they provide. This includes sedans, SUVs, and pick-up trucks manufactured by Toyota, Hyundai, Mitsubishi, BMW, and more.

We especially love the stylish BMW Z4 convertible sports car they have available for rent!

Another plus is the additional services they offer, like setting up infant car seats for families vacationing with their little ones. They also offer electric wheelchair rentals for those with mobility issues.

We also have to give it to them for listing all their vehicles, rental prices, and delivery and pick-up fees on their website. Our only nitpick is the pricey 790 baht minimum daily rate for their cheapest rental car.

Das Rent Car is known for its fuss-free and transparent service in Phuket. We love the convenience that all their available vehicles are listed on their website.

Even the rental prices, specifications, required deposit, and delivery and pick-up fees are easily available! Even more, their rental contract is available online so you know what you’re signing into before booking their services. 

We also like that their vehicles have premium insurance and you get a personal manager who’ll assist you from start to finish. Moreover, they offer unlimited mileage, but you must contact them first if you plan to travel beyond Phuket.

Notably, they also have one of the cheapest minimum daily rates at only 650 baht. The only minor downside is the lack of additional services beyond car rental, delivery, and pick-up.

Good cars and low rental prices

“I rented a Toyota Yaris-Ativ 2020 model year 94 hp for 12 days, the prices were a very pleasant surprise compared to other companies. The car was in good condition, 94 hp on serpentine roads. not enough, so they seem to have a large fleet, take a car with more power. The car was brought to the hotel, 400 baht delivery, the car was clean, there was less than half of gasoline in the tank. They picked up the car from another hotel, also 400 baht + 500 for car washing. So the summary is this: the cars are good, the price tag is low, I recommend this car rental company.”
