We’re very impressed by this school’s techniques. It mainly follows the Institute for Vocal Advancement’s (IVA) method, which is based on the Old Italian School of Singing and other international vocal schools’ standards.

We also like its commitment to continually improving its methods. It updates its techniques every year with the latest knowledge in vocal sciences.

With all these in tow, we’re not surprised that our respondents equivocally agree that the teachers of Rongpleng.com are excellent. 

We appreciate that they can provide a very personalized approach in every singing lesson. Moreover, they’re known to continually encourage their students to practice and improve their craft.

Finally, singing lessons here can go from THB 950 up to 9,700, which is pretty reasonable for us.

Master Class Studio is a performing arts school located in the Chatuchak district of Bangkok. It offers acting, dance, and singing classes to kids and adults.

In our opinion, this school absolutely lives up to its “master” name. It was established by actor-director and coach Robin Schroeter, together with his wife in 2018.

It surprised us that the Master Class “studio” is a two-storey home. However, exploring the school and its capabilities taught us to never judge a book by its cover.

Although still relatively young, this performing arts school has already made significant waves in the Thai entertainment industry, with some of its alums already winning acting accolades. It has coached many promising young actors and continues to do so.

Master Class’ singing lessons caught our attention because of our respondents’ great reviews. The general consensus is that the Master Class method leaves its students with insightful knowledge of the industry and the “self” part of acting.

Aside from the exceptional training, we were delighted to know that its singing teacher, Min Payom, is also the official voice of Isabella Madrigal in the Thai dub of Disney’s Encanto.

As for the rates, we found it quite pricier than most. The singing lessons here start at THB 2000 per class and promise to teach its students the proper way of singing or using their voices in their performances.

If you’re a big fan of rock music and want to learn more about how to sing songs in this genre beautifully, then we highly suggest you check out Rockademy Thailand. It was founded by Mr Pat Yongkittikul, music producer and guitarist of the rock band Barbie.

Although technically considered Thailand’s own “School of Rock,” Rockademy does not look like someone’s teenage wasteland. Its premises are conducive to learning and well-equipped with all the tools and equipment needed for any rock band.

For the total beginner, Rockademy offers lessons for instruments usually seen in a rock band, including one’s voice. 

A vocal class lasts for about 50 minutes and teaches students proper technique in singing, memorizing lyrics and melodies, and other vocal exercises. 

We are genuinely in awe of the skill and expertise present in this humble music school. 

Aside from its founder, most of its teaching staff are accomplished rock musicians in their own right, educated at the top music schools in the country.

We received comments that lessons here are expensive (around THB 2,000 an hour), but given this pedigree of teaching staff, we see the premium pricing just right. 

But hey, they’re giving free trial lessons, so you might as well check them out first instead of passing out on them altogether.

If you’re looking for singing lessons that could help you sing songs with more emotion, or you’re just looking for a personal vocal coach to teach you how to sing, then Ploy Voice Studio could be the one you need. 

Its founder, Kru Ploy Chonthicha Yosaphon, has been teaching voice lessons for 16 years and was even a finalist in the first season of The Voice Thailand. 

Furthermore, she’s a music educator who taught at Mahidol University and even studied at the Universität Mozarteum Salzburg in Austria—very well-rounded in theory and practice!

Kru Ploy’s forte is the psycho-spiritual aspect of singing and music, which answers our questions on how she could make even the most difficult of singers sing freely.

Ploy Voice Studio offers singing lessons for adults and children as young as five. You can get one-on-one or group coaching, either face-to-face or via an online course.

Private singing lessons here come in a package of five sessions lasting for about an hour each and costing THB 7500. You can also get a one-off private session for THB 1800 or an online consultation of 20 minutes for THB 800. A bit expensive, but fair.

The only concern of some with Ploy Voice Studio is its location—a residential area that needs a bit more effort to travel to.

Nevertheless, students of Ploy Voice Studio love the quality of the lessons they get. The teachers here are very professional, and their approach gives students the least stress.

Ultimately, we highly recommend the expertise of Ploy Voice Studio, especially for beginners.

Octave28 studio in Prawet is another Bangkok music school that offers voice lessons.  It’s in a residential area about four kilometers from the Udom suk BTS station—a bit smaller than the other music schools we have on our list.

This music school is a one-woman operation led by Tippchiiardar Chousurin, also called Kru Foil. She’s a certified Level III IVA instructor whose goal is to help each student achieve the best version of their singing voice.

To begin with, we were very impressed by her credentials as a singer. She has been singing for over 20 years and continually improves herself through certifications from schools such as the Trinity College of London and the Berklee College of Music.

Before her private venture, Kru Foil also taught in other music schools, such as Yamaha. You might also remember her as one of the vocal trainers in Thailand’s musical reality TV show Academy Fantasia (seasons 10 and 11).

Her experience also shows a lot with how her past and current students praise her teaching method. They agree that Kru Foil is very patient and can effectively adjust her teaching to her students’ age, skills, and understanding.

With all of these great things about Octave28, many aspiring singers would want to be taught by Kru Foil. Good thing she offers both online and in-person singing lessons so people within and beyond Bangkok can easily acquire her services.

However, we must mention that lessons with her are quite expensive, but this is not surprising given her level of expertise.
